Jesus Dave is brutal in the first 3 minutes. It doesn't matter because TNA will not make money in the next 2 years - so accurate, but so harsh to hear.

TNA had everything it needed to legit challenge Vince
Talent (AJ, JOE, OKADA!!!!! they had FUCKING OKADA! AND RUINED HIM! Sting, ANGLE! the entire X Devision)
      Money (dixie carter's dads money)
National AND internation TV exposure (TNA were HUGE in UK)
where they failed is the SAME reason WCW failed
      Hogan, Eric, Nash, Russo.
take those 4 people out of this and TNA would have been making money HAND OVER FIST!

Challenging them is a good part of the reason they fucked themselves over.

I mean, uhh.. the thing is (cough) that when he has an idea, well, sometimes it comes together. And ya know... sometimes it doesn’t. We’ll have to see.. uhh... if it works out. Things change all the time.

He's just old. If you go back and listen to WOR from around the turn of the century he sounds completely different, speaking much faster and clearer, with a cadence akin to the average American radio host. And he did host the show at that time, with Bryan being the guy who was there to offer his thoughts.

He robbed a CVS pharmacy of 3 bottles of Oxycodone. He then went to a Chili's, went in the bathroom and crushed/shot 127 Oxycodone pills into his arm & sat there for 40 mins, then got arrested the next day.

17:40-18:29.; What were Bryan & Dave Meltzer talking about as far as movie theaters?

The TNA PPV was shown in some movie theatres. Apparently, UFC tried it as well and it wasn't that successful. It's a half-decent idea in theory, but when people think "sports themed PPV", they tend to think going to a bar instead of a movie theatre, so it's no surprise that it'd be a niche thing.

So essentially it's a form of closed circuit TV.

@@beau9956 You copy-pasting Paul Dennett's comment? Well, if someone put it so well why try to re-invent the wheel?

@@fuzzydunlop7928 dude.. I posted this comment 12 months ago, I have no memory of even posting it LOL
AND to somewhat answer your question, People ("visionaries") try and "re-invent the wheel" for all types of reasons but generally speaking, they do it because they can imagine that their "re-invent" would somehow build upon, make it bigger, make more money than whatever base the original concept had been. Sometimes it works (Vince and PPV) and sometimes it don't
