Brian Stockman is a master carver with more than 50 years of experience carving all mediums from wood, to stone, horn, bone, ivory, and ice. Wow!-awesome!-do you look at a picture or something like that for inspiration or just draw up your design out of what’s in your mind? Thanks for sharing!

Hey RoosterRun,thanks for checking in. This piece is from my own mind. I have been studying historical Native American culture and attire for most of my life, so I dip into that for things like this. It would have been nice to have a picture of her though.

Hi Brian! I am new to your channel and intrigued by your carvings. I have sent you a message on your Etsy store and am hoping that I can discuss a project with you for a custom carved piece. Thank you for your videos and consideration. Alone

Hello Alone and welcome to our tribe! I would love to do something for you. Do you ever go on messenger? I find that is a good way to communicate. What part of Alaska are you from? I have friends up there and have lived there myself for a while.

@@StockmanOriginal Hi Brian. I don't use messenger. I am excited to discuss this project with you. Hopefully you received my message on Etsy. I live in the Copper River Basin on the east side of Alaska.
