Thanks for posting. I left Akure in 2003, havent been back. I barely remember anywhere but this video brings back memories with the drivers narration of key areas. I spotted my Primary school. Lot of good changes.

I’m sorry but you should have used a real thumbnail and not click bait 🥱👎🏽. This was boring with too much talking, I think I’d stick to Ludo, the immersion in his videos are much nicer and more engaging with no bias and guess what he doesn’t talk too
much!. Do better or just don’t do it at all. Thanks!

I am going to start my response by letting you know I am indigenous native of Akure. If I can't tell you anything about Nigeria I can definitely tell you about the city where I was born. Judging you by your own words it seems you are one of those who is all talk and no action. Trump dumped on Nigeria in the beginning of his presidency and US news papers put him in his place. They put the statistics out there and he shut his mouth ever since. Every single bad thing you mentioned are words of truth. No Nigerian can dispute all these things, but yet you sound hateful of your own heritage. Patriotism is never about what is good or bad about a place you call your own. Nothing is blind about defending your own country. No foreign country that I know hate Nigerians. As a matter of fact they do envy our resilience and strong commitment to succeed. I do not know if you are hated in the country where you reside, assuming you live abroad, but even the Nigeria criminals in the US are respected by the law enforcement looking to put them behind bar. I know people like you who came back home from abroad, got into politics shouting loud how he's going to change all your aforementioned and didn't waste any time getting in the same shit hole he was complaining about. Let me just make it this plain to you. Use the same effort you are using bad mouthing your country and apply it to whatever you can do to make it better. As we speak I am currently in Nigeria enjoy what makes Nigeria thick and doing the best I can to help where I can. Stop being a sellout, be a doer because you love your Country!

Typical Naija town ( not city) .
Disoriented , disheveled and disorganised, with the usual accursed Okadas riding against traffic .
Noisy ( cars perpetually honking their horns) and chaos everywhere!

Poor and non existent town planning. No maintenance culture. No standard. I can go on ad infinitum.

@@ojopagogo2859 > Yes you can go on and on. Negative vibe written all over you. If you live abroad please remember you took no part in creating what you are so much enjoying in another man's country. So, return home without the usual saying ( I am going home to chop the money) attitude and help build your cities the best way. Enough of your likes who can't do more than yap yap about how it should be.

I am not going to question your definition of a city, but Akure has been a city long before your forefathers were born. The city consists of more than six boroughs that are now intertwined. In the years before your forefathers they were then known as the villages of Akure. People that have nothing to offer usually look down on what they don't understand. If you have been to the heart of cities like New York, Jersey city or Chicago you probably would have redirected you insult of a cultural old city like Akure to your own selfless empty headed narrow mindedness.

@@rufusabiodun7519 don't have a go at me, my friend. You are barking at the wrong tree. Try those intellectually challenged and clueless administrators in charge of the chaos/pig sty at the local/state/federal levels; and people like you who shore them up with your things go better attitude, whilst the entire polity is fast sinking into the abyss by the minute. Better shine your eyes.
