- So apparently Knee and the MAINMANSWE and other notable voices feel xiaoyu needs to be nerfed to hell again after loosing every setup she had in Tekken 7 at the end of season 5.00 where she can no longer use wall setups. Furthermore Knee suggested on twitter removing aop d, the added butterfly motion which must be timed to evade more mids. I’m aware she needs a very slight adjustment with the safety of hypnotist 3 as I feel the knockdown damage should be reduced and it’s unsafeness be increased relative to the steps she takes because no one should get a launch for free but why not talk about Jin’s d2 or devil jin heat smash and combo resets from grounded? Xiaoyu has the worst tracking and range in the game… At what point do we learn the matchup and actually provide counterplay? The idea that xiaoyu gets free wins is absurd… please tell me what’s cheap about this gameplay or unbeatable about this gameplay?

lmao the DJ using MC3 and QC3 on his life to shutdown AOP. You can punch jab him out of MC3 very slow move. They def need to do something about DJ's & Jun's Heatsmash. That shit completely ruins the neutral game, it's pretty much never your turn.

That doesn’t include the time it takes for you to close distance.. lili has a similar mixup that mirrors xiao… her feisty rabbit mixup in heat….. with a back turned low that launches at the wall in heat?? Is lili busted too cause she’s just as strong or stronger than ling…
@@wisdomseeker0142 imo with all due respect deflecting it to other since it mirror the same setup isnt the healthy way to approach this. Im not saying lili shouldnt get nerfed i think lili has some busted things too and lili mains out there gonna downplay it then deflect it to another character. Cycle continues
Im just saying -12 low that gives knockdown and launch is kinda busted im not whining and crying them to nerf xiao since im kinda of guy who prefers buffing "weak" char than nerfing "strong" chars
@@lichtbach7693 oh no I didn’t deflect at all i mentioned her low should be adjusted in the description. But it’s strange no one is talking of lili . She’s way more powerful at the wall to me than ling in some cases. Her low is also minus -13 or -12 from feisty rabbit. She hits u with that it’s 42 or so damage which includes the ws3 followup and at the wall get ready for some oki afterwards. My thing is when we talk about balance we need to bring everyone into the conversation Not just the characters we dislike.
@@wisdomseeker0142 yea i agree about talking about everyone when it comes to balance topic but perhaps the phrasing sounds deflecting to me. "Xiaoyu hyp 3 is strong but lili feisty rabbit also strong if not stronger" it is deflecting to me. Whether you're correct or not it doesnt justify xiaoyu being not broken or broken. Its different topic whether i do a rebuttal defending lili like
" feisty rabbit uses heat hyp doesnt heat just power it up faster " doesn't also justify lili as someone not deserving to be talked about as "overtuned" whether im correct or not. It just leads nowhere in my opinion. Thats why i said its not a healthy way to have a conversation about balance since it deviates from context of xiaoyu being an evasive character with a low risk high reward 50/50 hyp stance.
Nerfs for what? 3rd least picked character in the game and has a very high skill ceiling. She has no 13 frame mid pokes and no quick ch launchers from neutral. What are you nerfing? Even her parries don’t give you any thing anymore. Great video! 👍🏽this is just me voicing thoughts

That’s not what I’ve been hearing or experiencing. I had a bushin Hwoarang winquit my bushin promo. A lot of people online hate xiaoyu even when you are punishing properly…. Even when jack 8 can kill you wayyy quicker and has a way better throw game and his whole run shoulder is hard to sidestep… xisoyu gets killed for doing her wr3 easily. Then everyone acts like she crushes every mid when she absolutely doesn’t .
@@wisdomseeker0142 I play with xiayou and it’s not easy to win with her. Everyone is complaining about her. She fine imo. If they don’t nerf Dragunov then they definitely shouldnt touch her

Main man still things ling has stupid setups. Only thing we have after combos is ki charge and throw/mid mix. Hes a little delulu
I hate playing with xiaoyu, simply because i can't understand her, that dj definitely read you like a book, no mishima player that reached tekken king rank would be weak af
Hmmm idk about all that his heat smash is not right. Xiaoyu works for her nuetral he doesn’t . His heat smash ignores the nuetral and movement… I’m a king with her also. For me and my playstyle , movement is everything and characters that can negate that aspect of Tekken i scrutinize.

Both have weakeness. I am annoyed with people calliing them "op" when in reality is that they are only "op" because people either don't know the matchup or because of 1 ir 2 moves.
Listen Xiaoyu Hyp stance and Devil Jin heat smash is annoying i get it but to say they have no weaknesses is just wrong. Xiaoyu is a lot more unsafe than people realize and DJ only has two lows which are unsafe which he is reliant (especially if they have a 13-14f ws punish). Moreover, they difficult to use with Xiaoyu who is hard to use due to her gameplan and DJ execution.
It annoys me the most that there are also type of people who would defend characters like Dragunov! Like this mf has virtually no weakness with having best wall carry, good heatsmash, movement, throws and strings. He went from having one of the worst wall combo in Tk 7 to having the best wall combo in Tk 8 and being hard to braindead easy.
Some would defend him by using pathetic that 'he is easy to beat' yeah tell that to actual pro players.
Both are Xiaoyu and DJ are overturned but so is everyone else with the exception of few ahem Zafina, Leroy.
Yes I see. I would rather fight dragunov then king though. King is way more threatening to me than dragunov. I can see drags throws king?? He needs to be brought down by like 4 notches. Devil jin is almost balanced … it’s just his heat mechanics turn him into something out of street fighter than Tekken.
@@wisdomseeker0142 Yeah King is annoyingly strong with his throws but he does have at least a weakness with him having bad movement but that said I'm surprised people don't hate him more like they have for Xiaoyu. Dragunov is just free wins and very consistent.
Just because they have weaknesses it doesn't mean they are not broken. I know the Xiaoyu matchup since I play her and she's busted af
