I only have one cat right now because I have a 1 and 4 year old son. Once they get a little older and we move into a bigger house, we will definitely start adding to the family We got Willow almost a month ago. She’s 11 weeks old now. She’s a grey tabby with brown splotches, she’s so beautiful

hi taylor. i have had my baby beardie for about 3 months now and she seems to be fine with her tank, but i do see her glass surfing soemtimes. i'm worried about her and she doesn't really like me holding her anymore. when i first got her all she wanted to do was be held and she hated her tank. she is fine with it noe after i added some plants and tried to make it more comfy for her but she still glass surfs soemtimes. so when she does i try to hold her, but she only lets me pick her up sometimes. if she shows any signs of being scared i leave it alone and see what will happen and she usually just goes on with her day. soemtimes she will let me hold her but she will be very jumpy and try to jump off of me which scares me, and soemtimes she will be calm and let me hold her with no trouble. im worried about the glass surfing and that she isn't very social yet and it's been a while since i got her. any tips/ ideas on what's bothering her?
Bearded dragons can glass surf for multiple reasons. It’s usually either because something inside the tank is stressing them out or they’re mesmerized by their own reflection. Try to switch up the tank a bit with different styles and see if that helps! I know with Fitz, she occasionally glass surfs and sometimes it’s not because of anything in the tank, I’ve come to accept it’s just part of her routine and usually let her out to roam around afterwards. Instead of holding her when she glass surfs, try to let her roam around in a different enclosed area! if you’re bearded dragon is still young I wouldn’t worry too much as they’re usually most active and “jumpy” when they’re juveniles. If you’ve tried absolutely everything and are still worried, I definitely recommend seeking a vets advice! However, I hope my tips could help!! :)

40 is the absolute bare minimum for a full grown beardie. I would recommend getting a 75 gallon or bigger though.
