Hello friends! If you've noticed, I've blurred out parts of the images in this video - and that's because I want to respect the creators'' intellectual property. So if you want to see the pattern, please do so via the links in the description box!
Thank you for watching! 😊💕
the turtle one to put the straps on you should use acrylic yarnband makebthe strps longer
I would also love it if you made another video on no sew patterns you’ve found! Those are my favorite videos!
Will do!!! :)
I think your frog looks awesome as a square. I’m going to make a square one next!
That is so so kind of you to say that! Hope your square frog turns out well! 😁
Thank you for sharing your experience with these patterns. I appreciate your honesty, and knowing that I'm not the only one who struggles sometimes.
Aww thank you for watching and sharing in the struggles! Happy to share my adventures :)
Love these no sew patterns! Thank you for sharing them! You are such a sweet person and I love watching your videos! I’ve been looking for a pickle pattern for a while and haven’t found a good one, so thanks for sharing this pickle pattern! Also, I’ve seen the Trunk the turtle pattern before and decided to make it today since you had trouble with the straps fitting good on the arms and I figured out a way to make it fit good: I added 3 extra double crochets into each bobble stitch to make the arms bigger and more defined with a total of 7 double crochets in the one bobble stitch and then just did the 5 chains for each strap as directed to make the straps nice and snug on the arms and they stayed on great! I used premier parfait chunky yarn and a 5 millimeter hook for details! This pattern is really cute and thanks for inspiring me to make this pattern to help you figure out the strap/arm problem!
Hi Trishia! Thank you so much for the sweet comment! 💕 omg thank you for figuring out how to make Trunk the Turtle work!!! I am going to try your solution :) my yarn is Baby Snuggle with a 5mm hook, so hopefully it yields the same results!
I also made Trunk and totally love it. I ended up adding 2 more rounds to the shell and then 5 chains are a good fit for the arms.
Adorable
Thank you taking the time to post this easy to follow video. I’m a beginner and it was very helpful for me.
I'm glad!!! These are very good, beginner-friendly patterns and good for trying out new stitches too! Hope you have fun trying them out :)
Fun video, lots of great ideas!

Thank you so much, very helpful video!
Thank you for watching! 💕
I have had good luck moving to a larger hook for the bobble stitches to make them stand out more :)
Hi Melissa! Thanks for that tip, and thank you for watching! :)
Thank you! this was so helpful!
Glad to hear that! Thank you for watching! :)
saving this video :D so fun patterns, definitely going to make these
Yayyy that's awesome! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! 😊💕
I really love your video it’s so cute and I’ll definitely be checking out some of these patterns!!! Keep up the good work!! ❤️
Happy to hear that you liked the video and the patterns! Thank you for the sweet compliment! :)
With the bobble stitches. I found if I did more passes with it it made them bigger. So instead of finishing with 4 loops at the end that you do your final pull trough to finish it off I would do another yarn over put hook through yarn over and pull up then pull through 2 another time or 2. I do them anywhere from 3 to 6 times. It helps change the size of the bobble. Hope I’m clear with the explaning. Thanks for sharing. I recently got into this type of crocheting. And it’s so much fun to find new patterns to try.
Hi Cari! Perfectly clear explanation! 😊 A couple of other viewers have suggested that too, so it looks like the way to go! Can't wait to go back and try out the pattern again!
Thank you for watching and commenting! It makes me excited to make more videos! 😊💕
So cute. Thanks for this helpful video. I'm trying the adorable cat today!
How exciting! Hope it turns out well! 💕
Love cat, elephant, and gecko
Those were exactly my favourite patterns! Hope you give them a try!
Love the video and your personality! New to your channel. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to try the gecko.
Hi Wendi! Thank you for the sweet compliment! I love that gecko pattern and I hope you do too!!! 💕
Such a great video! Thank you for listing the patterns and tips! 😁 I made the cat (so cute!) and the turtle I also struggled with the feet and straps. I ended up adding extra DC stitches to each foot. 🐈🐢❤
Yesss the cat is so cute! For Trunk the turtle, another viewer also suggested adding extra DCs so I'm excited to try that (and maybe crochet the other costumes too)! Thank you for watching! 💕
Thanks so much for sharing! I'm currently market prepping and needed some little things to make. These are perfect!
Aaah that makes me so happy to hear! I'm so glad the video was helpful and I hope your market prep goes well! :)
I made the no sew elephant love it!!
I love it too! Nooks Hooks also has a fruit elephant pattern that I want to try! 😁
They’re all cute ❤ Thank you for sharing.😊 hi from Gold Coast
Yes! It's amazing that these patterns are available for free too! :)
I haven't made it to Gold Coast but hope to one day! 😍
You mentioned not to follow a pattern blindly; a pattern that is written correctly should be able to be followed without images or videos. The bobble stitches not ending up where they should be would only be attributed to tension if you didn't have consistent tension. Weather loose or tight as long as the tension is consistent. Everything should be fine. May I ask if you started out with Animuguri? If yes I would suggest mastering thenbasics first, by the time you work from ch to dc and work in swatches you will have perfect tension for life. Happy crocheting!
Hi Kelly! Thank you for the advice! I learned the basic stitches at a craft fair and my technique is probably not correct, so this is a very good reminder to master the foundation :) I appreciate you taking the time to leave this comment!
I personally really liked the no sew bunny by Danika!
Hellooo thank you for sharing that! I THINK I found the bunny you're talking about, and I've added it to my project list (which is waaaaay too long haha).
Hi, thank you for the video. I am very like the squid one but stuck on the eyes😢 do u have video how you do the eyes. Thank youuu..
Hello hello! I sewed the black part first, and then the white part around it. This video here could be helpful, just follow the beginning parts:

Hope you get the hang of it!
@@yarnofakind thank you so much for the reply 🤗🤗
I have been looking everywhere for a baby elephant crochet pattern and I love the one that you found, but I'm curious were you find the pattern?
Hellooo! The pattern is on Instagram and here's the link to @nooks_hooks' post: instagram.com/p/Cz-4uUptbSY/
Swipe to the right to see the pattern (in the images)! Let me know if you can't find it and I'll try to help!
@@yarnofakind Thank you so much!
Hi, I am so non-tech, I need a “how to get free patterns from instagram” for dummies… I go to the link… i see the item… then I’m lost. How do I see the written pattern? My favorite 3 items are the gecko, the squid and the elephant 😊
Hi Annette, if you're on a phone, you can swipe to the right to see the pattern (they are all images).
If you're on a computer, there should be faint arrows (in circles) on the left and right sides of the image - you should be able to click on those to see the pattern.
Let me know if you still can't access the pattern!
@@yarnofakind thank you 😊
Love your video. I really want and actually need the gecko pattern but i must be really dumb because i cant seem to find the free pattern. 😢
Hello! All the patterns are linked in the description box! Here's the gecko one: instagram.com/p/C3tgYFQxgZT/
I just figured it out [I'm not familiar with Instagram stuff] you have to swipe on the picture of the post and the pattern is on the following pictures
@@cvaronardi1464 hahahaha! Thank you! Boy do I feel dumb!! 🫢🫢
Ahh! So sorry that wasn't clear! Yes, the patterns are all in the carousel :))
Thank you @@cvaronardi1464 for pointing it out!
@@yarnofakind ❤️ thank you!!
