Thank you so much! I'm a 64 yr old woman and do most of the minor repairs on my house myself. I got oil this morning and went to check the gauge and it wasn't working. I immediately went online and found you and found that I can do this myself. Thanks again and God bless you sweetheart
Hi Eric. I just called my fuel oil company and I thought my fuel oil was completely empty because the gauge said so. I just had it filled up. I called the fuel man and he came to check and said the gauge was stuck.. So if I buy a new gauge, do I make sure those metal things attached to the new gauge hits the bottom of the tank? Hiw deep do I go? I have 300 gal tank.
My oil company quoted me $275 to replace the gauge. Thank you for the fun, instructional video - and the savings!

Does the furnace need to be turned off?
Great vid but that's not a pipe wrench bud.
