    Sick way to watch the race. Thanks for posting the vid man! Fun to watch my home-town dude Josh race behind you on Lap 1 for a while. I'm gonna sub so I remember to see your next one.

    very nice race again. Was watching it while riding the Turbotrainer. Best way to speed up time. Btw we finished your 3h31min video on a turbo session two weeks ago. Greets from Germany

      Wow! You're an absolute legend for finishing a 3.5 h video on the turbotrainer. I'll have to record longer videos 😆

      @@bengoyette gotta get my fitness together, that course has a deceiving amount of climbing that isn’t very apparent from the videos!

    Josh just hanging out behind you not even looking like he's breathing making all the rocks look smooth and flat.

    • @JoshuaTootell
      @JoshuaTootell 2 роки тому

      Hey Jason, that rock I was talking about is at 14:03. Instead of going right and then left, you can just go straight over it and roll down the other side.

    • @rojoracing53
      @rojoracing53 2 роки тому +1

      I've looked at it a number of times and it just didn't look XC friendly. I do see in this video it looks much more shallow with the wide angle lens and some added rocks that weren't there before. But if you did it, then that proves it's XC ready.

    Well done Ben. Good effort. In your spare time check out the crocodile trophy race over 8 days held in Cairns Australia. I think you would be well suited for it. Cheers

    I really wanna come out here just to ride. It looks so open though. Is there a specific trail that's kinda between the XC and DH tracks? I'd love to do a light enduro loop or something...

    • @rojoracing53
      @rojoracing53 2 роки тому +2

      That's my lunch lap which includes one of the more tame Enduro runs that the xc race doesn't do. You can always mod a second or third loop with some exploring down the boulders from the highest point above the water tank

    • @bengoyette
      @bengoyette  2 роки тому +2

      There are a lot of segments to explore there, and you can't really get lost. The XC loop is a good place to start, and then branching off to some other segments like rojo said.

    Nice race. I was hoping you would pass that guy that stubbornly stayed just ahead of you, but perhaps not in that way. Hope he is alright.

    • @bengoyette
      @bengoyette  2 роки тому +2

      He was alright, just a few scratches. Lucky because that could have been nasty.

    Do you have some more of your races that down have the rear view cam? I've been using videos like this in front of my tv on my exercise bike. This one would be perfect but, you added the look-behind camera edits?

    • @bengoyette
      @bengoyette  Рік тому

      Without the rear cam? Is it disorienting?

    • @zelig1799
      @zelig1799 Рік тому

      @@bengoyette It just takes you out of the immersion. I know, sounds weird. But honestly, if you set up videos like yours in front of each exercise bike in gyms, their usage would skyrocket. It's like zwift but with a real pov camera. Have you never tried it yourself?

    • @bengoyette
      @bengoyette  Рік тому

      @@zelig1799 my Swiss Epic videos don’t have a rear cam. Also, all my videos longer than an hour don’t have a rear cam anymore after the 1h mark because the battery only lasts about an hour.
