Thanks so much for your POV videos. My winter trainer experience has been transformed. Fun being virtually over your front wheel on the Swiss Epic stages, especially. Would love to know what your gopro set up is as I am thinking about documenting some of my MTB riding in Vermont.
I haven't. But we packed light as we travelled by plane. My most valuable item was my Camelbak hydratation vest. It was light enough to wear all day and gave me that extra water & nutrition I needed to keep going. Most riders had only bottles.
I can’t remember, I’ll have to look it up. Not first for sure, because that’s the race winner handing us the medal there at the end and he’s already showered and all
Hey Ben your catalog has been part of my inspiration for racing since 2017. (Not a zwift fan) how are powering your camera for an entire race?? Battery swap or Battery pack? . Thanks bro
at 2:50:00 we were stopped because we had to wait our teammate to finish the climb. It was a team race, so we had to stay close enough to each other at all times.
Yep. It missed the last two stages. I had to pace by feels. I probably pushed a bit harder on that stage knowing it was the last and I was feeling good.
Unmatched footage. Thank you so much! Wish I could ride that with you guys, but at least I found my favourite indoor training vids ..
Thanks! I’m glad you like it! Keep it on on the trainer 💪
Hey Ben, world class riding, and great finish to a awesome stage race! Congrats!!
Thanks Dan!
Great vids mate. Been using them as some motivation for some boring trainer sessions. They are some amazing trails.
Thanks Nick! That’s the way to go. Keep on spinning that crank.
congratrulations to you and yor partner for the 5 stages
Thanks Paulo ☺️
Restricted to the trainer again due to rib injury. Your videos are a god send to keep me occupied. Thank you! Hopefully you will be posting more?
Sad to hear, hopefully you’re back on the bike soon! Yes I have a couple videos incoming and new races planned for 2024
Waow.. 195minutes video durations 😱
For a long trainer session... 😆

Thanks Rob. I was using the HERO10 Black with a Max Lens Mod attached. And I had an external battery connected to the GoPro so it would last longer.
Molto piacevole vedere questo video ❤❤❤
Awesome youtubes. How do you get the map route and the other info on screen is there an app for that?
I use Garmin VIRB Edit for the overlay.
Brilliant video. Were there any riders using flat pedals? I'd be one of them 😉
I don’t recall, but I sure there were a few. Some sections were quite technical so that could help
Homes, did you ever do a video where you cover your bike setup and what you packed each day for this event?
I haven't. But we packed light as we travelled by plane. My most valuable item was my Camelbak hydratation vest. It was light enough to wear all day and gave me that extra water & nutrition I needed to keep going. Most riders had only bottles.
What position did you guys finish?

Hi 👋 I used a small cylinder-shaped battery bank taped under the handlebar. Keep up the training!
Why did you and the riders stop at 2:50?
at 2:50:00 we were stopped because we had to wait our teammate to finish the climb. It was a team race, so we had to stay close enough to each other at all times.
@@bengoyette Thanks for clarifying that 👍
Very cool
That power meter again?!
Yep. It missed the last two stages. I had to pace by feels. I probably pushed a bit harder on that stage knowing it was the last and I was feeling good.
Was it scary at all riding along the edge of the cliff for so long? I was scared just watching.
We're used to it. My local trails all have crazy exposure, so it's just something we deal with.

Awesome youtubes. How do you get the map route and the other info on screen is there an app for that?
Yes, I use the Garmin VIRB Edit app to export the telemetry overlay.
@@bengoyette awesome youtubes thanks :)
