Nice. Thanks for these uploads. I'm playing the PSP version and just beat these bosses. From here on out, I'll probably try and watch each clip simultaneously with my progress in the PSP version. Wish they were included from the get-go. But this works as well :-)
@mikethegamer0 In Mitsuru's case, the strong wish to protect her father activated her Persona. Takaya doesn't need an Evoker because his Persona possessed him. And Fuuka... her ability isn't a battle ability in the first place, she doesn't seem to need to summon her Persona to have those powers. (Mitsuru uses Penthisealas'(sp?) detection without the evoker, too. Chidori can give Life to things without the Evoker. And lastly, a persona seems to affect a person's strenght directly (attack power)
@mikethegamer0 "just speculating" Evokers are guns without bullets. It's proven that in a dangerous situation, human beings can push their limits and do things they usually can't or don't dare to. So generally, being in a fight+pulling a gun on yourself activates that reaction. Of course, you couldn't really summon a persona no matter in how much stress you are, there has to be some magic in there. (SEES and Strega have the potential, normal people don't).
@laharsama Isn't it Mitsuru who doesn't need the Evoker? Pretty sure she summoned her Persona without one as a child (in FES). I know you wrote that comment ages ago...but I just wanted to make sure.
@mrwhitecloud2 Well, at that point her persona just awakened not really explainable, actually. Evoker are not magical things, they're used to build up mental stress to increase the person's brain power. They could probably summon their personas with meditation and i guess that's what Fuuka does. just speculating.
never played 3, only 4 and 5 but with 3 about to become available on steam next year I want to give it a go, I've been reading about the lore of 3 and it seems the protagonists of persona 3 never really learned to channel their personas like 4, they hacked their way by using the guns, or maybe the TV world makes it easier to summon them?

Lol, even the Empress and the Emperor hate Fuuka's voice.
