I am aspiring 3d Modeler, this video really helped.
If I were to make projects like this for my portfolio to attract clients, would I be able to replicate any of the products with brand names as long as I state that it is done as a personal project? Or is that a bad idea and I will have to make everything up off brand?
I don't think it would give you any trouble. Even though it's technically possible that they come after you, I think it's not really something you need to worry about.

that part of uv unwraping did not work for me , this uv grid did not shows grid for me , it apply a color , i tried it with a new default cube it worked it shows grids but with that circle id idid not , can you help ?

Figured it out. Just go into edit mode, Press A (for select all) and then hit U (Unwrap)...that should work. I think he forgets to mention to hit A :)

After watching some of your visualization videos, i tried asking a company that i can make them a commercial for a fair amount of price based on the time i spend making it, they rejected and said they are not looking for a such opportunity, but they may contact me if they want, i tried another company, they didn't even reply, whats should i do? I spend average 4-5 hours making a model of a product from a random company and i don't make any cash for it 😔

the addon that makes the uv islands straight squares is called "uv squares" but it is still NOT build into blender. but is free.

Anyone else get an error trying to bake the normal map? I get “No active image found, add a material or bake to an external file.”
Not even sure where to begin with that.
you should be selecting the image in the shader editor before clicking 'bake'
@@Aws-graphics I did that. Turns out he didn’t also apply the texture to the cap model part, just the plane. At least I didn’t see him doing it and was able to get it done. Thanks tho!

anyone know how to move Origin to Cursor at 16:31 after Cursot to Selected?
In object mode,go to the object menu > set origin > origin to 3D cursor

i am a bit confused with product dimensions , should i use real life measurement for product design in blender?
I try to get as close as possible but it doesn't have to be exact, as long as it looks like the product.
Important distinction, this isn't product design, it's product visualization

@@Wladyslaw1440 3D software is pretty hard in general, but out of all the different programs, Blender is the most user friendly in my opinion. Most of the other programs' UIs that look like they stopped evolving in 2009, at least in Blender you can kind of stumble your way around the buttons and menus and kind of understand it without a 100$ course.
