This is the best trolling i've ever seen in a game, and the fact that Bayonetta 4 will be a reality in the future proves my point, just wait until you all watch that nothing bad really happened at the end, lol
Instrumental wise this is actually my favorite version not gonna lie, it's got an actual band and orchestra and voices feels more raw and nice, but holy christ in heaven after the sad ending they gave us, I was in my chair, lifeless, dare I say... wigless.
ikr, the first two endings had this happy music while fighting the credit verses, while this played very sad music before forcing the credit verses on you. plus the ending feels terrible regardless
Honestly Bayo reverting to her human form before going down gives credit to the theory Lukas fairie magic kept her soul from being claimed, so they're actually still alive somewhere in inferno and it's a dante/vergil scenario.
@@jacobo6652 Actually to quote someone else: "Everyone directly killed by Singularity was revived and had their worlds restored, except Brave Cereza." That includes Jeanne too, when they all "faded" away after attacking Singularity with you, that was them returning to their worlds. And Luka's implied to be alive too, but then again it's nothing confirmed. Just implications, but honestly I'll take that as a headcannon
For info, actually they are fine, almost all the restored universes, Luka taking care of Bayonetta (and possibly not only him) and in contact with his daughter thanks to Rodin, and Bayonetta herself (Cereza) who has all the ballots to be a terribly powerful demon XD. Hell even Enzo's family came back (or got a new chati), the thing is Jaenne, in theory she should have come back but... Hmmm.
But only one Bayo died. The others returned to their own world. Even the bayo from 1&2 are still alive. Only the Bayo from the first game as a kid was the one that died.
This version is interesting, is not a bad version, but I wish it was a bit more original or different, like how the version of Bayo 2 is different enough because it integrates parts of tomorrow is mine, but i guess is just my taste
When I re-read data from the first game, implying the brains behind the series is currently in his fifties, I whomped up the theory that he's exhausted (AAA game development takes a lot, never mind the boardroom/financial "that was too close for comfort" with getting the second one done) and preparing to pass the franchise reins over to someone else on Team Little Angels. This would explain the plot "takeaways" of the third game.
Apparently, it was originally supposed to be Open world adventure, which explains the island Unfortunately It was too complicated, so instead, they scrapped it and just went with the typical level design. You would have originally gone to the worlds of bayonetta's 1 and 2. So their arrival at the end of the game doesn't seem so out of left field. 😕 But halfway through he left the company so someone else picked up and finished for them.
I came for the comments and they delivered DAMN! On a serious note though, this didn't feel as fulfilling as the first (that much is obvious from all the tonal whiplash) but I'll be damned to say this wasn't my favorite version of this song.
Apparently people were expecting the absurdly over the top action game to have some kind of life-changing medium defining story and ending instead of being exactly what the series has always been... goofy and over the top. No I love this song and ending made me smile like crazy.
I couldn't even enjoy this the first time because I was so fucking pissed. The indomitable Bayonetta, the one that shakes her ass at literal demons and gets away with it because can't nobody do a damn thing to stop her, fucking died! Like you can't have such a bombastic character got out like this honestly and worse passing it on to someone who is so very much not ready. IDC how much of a klut Luka is. That shit ain't genetic, and honestly if Viola was half the badass that Bayonetta is then her taking a potential protagonist role wouldn't be so hard to swallow the very idea.
That's an opinion not a fact. I will even say that I enjoyed the ending. Now I can't wait for viola to prove that she deserves the Bayonetta name in Bayonetta 4.
Stop calling everything you say facts, it’s not.
