I would imagine that Let It Be will be the next release, but we shall see. I would love to see The Beatles In Mono analogue vinyl box re-released as well!
Rusty Shackleford -new Beatles album? Yea I heard they’ll all get together for a new studio album this fall. George and John will be contributing their parts from remote locations unknown. Paul and John are currently writing new material and Ringo and George will contribute one song each. George’s will be serious and have religious undertones and Ringo’s will be whimsical. Most likely Paul’s contributions will be pop oriented and John’s will be dark with scathing political commentary.
Why do people like mono so much? BTW did recording & playing audio equipment ever improve in leaps & bounds from 1965 to 1970. Right? It seems to me. All the different remixes this & that, confuse me. What's to make if it all. And what the heck is Blue Ray? 💙

If you do not have any collection of The Beatles, I'd say you'll do just fine with the 2009 Original Studio Recordings box set. If nothing else, you could get used copies of the ol' '87/'88 CDs.
God help me I have this item, the Mono CD box, the stereo CD box, the stereo LP box,The fantastic mono LP box, the first two Capitol CD boxes(passed on the most recent one since they substituted UK versions of some of the songs, which defeats the point),The Sgt. Pepper picture disc from the 70s AND the most recent one, import MMT on yellow vinyl, the repress of the UK MMT EP box,the red album on red vinyl (70s),the 70s Hollywood bowl and the most recent one both vinyl of course, the first issue of"1"(LP) ,"LOVE" on vinyl and DVD audio, most of the 1st issue cds, a stack of colored vinyl 45s from the 80s or 90s,what I believe is a genuine copy of "Introducing the Beatles" on Vee Jay,The SGT. Pepper super deluxe box,The White Album Super Deluxe box, the ""1" blu ray, The Anthologies on Vinyl and CD, "Real Love" and "Free as a Bird" on 45,and...well that's most of it. The stereo separation is not the fault of the remaster. The 2009 reissues were not remixes. The team at Abbey Road Studios took what was originally done (except in the case of Help! and Rubber Soul) and simply cleaned up the sound. Stereo was in it's infancy in the 60s. Mono was still the main format, until the later 60s.
Magical Mystery Mike Ohhh i understand. So they kept the mixes from the 60s, but just digitally remastered the audio? That aside, I still really love the new mixes they have been doing since around 2015, especially for songs like Strawberry Fields Forever and Here Comes The Sun!
That's a good question. I haven't tried to import anything onto the device, as I wouldn't want to mess anything up, this item being harder and harder to get these days. There's no indication on the packaging. I was able to back up the contents to a standard usb, that much I can tell you.
If I recall, I was able to negotiate a pretty fair price on an auction site a few years ago. It was no more than $150. I mean, it's a very nice item, it's a rare collectable, and it has the entire output of official studio recordings from Please Please Me to Let It Be in FLAC files, but it's still a USB, and USBs fail. $500 asking price on some sites? Nope!
@@CJPeriPeri I'ver certainly seen it go for more. If you are comfortable spending that, and it's in nice condition, with the stem intact, go for it! $250 is probably not too far off the median price these days.

Hey I have some questions? I’m thinking of getting this for my dads birthday but I’m wondering would it work in the USB drive of a Sony smart TV/4K ultra HD bluray player? Or would it work in my dads Ford trucks USB? (It has sync voice command) thanks!
That would be an awfully generous gift. Keep in mind, this item is no longer being manufactured for retail sale, so check out a site like Discogs for a good price comparison. It would most likely work in the USB of the BluRay player, but perhaps only the MP3 files, and NOT the FLAC files. Same with the USB in the truck. I can play the MP3 files through a USB in my car.
@@jerebadine if you buy one, i would copy the files to another usb-stick for daily use ;) For home use I copied the 44.1-24 files to my NAS to use with my hifi/streamer setup.
The early stereo is certainly a little wonky, but still worthwhile to listen to for the different mixes to the mono. Mono is my go to as well, but I enjoy the stereo too!
Well, at this point this item is obsolete for the "young people", unless they can't live without the FLAC files. I imagine iTunes and streaming services fit the bill for the average younger fans. Those buying this today are mentally ill with what I like to refer to as Beatpolar disorder. There's really no other reason to seek it out.

As a format it does not appeal to me at all. I much prefer the little shiny discs in their nice little boxes with their little booklets and all - no, not vinyl records, I 've been torturing myself with their care and their various problems and defects until about 2 decades ago, but no more, 30 or so years was enough. Nontheless, i can't afford to buy music anymore. So no matter the format they pack it in, I will just listen on Spotify and youtube or not listen at all and that's it.
This is definitely a niche item. At the time of release, The Beatles were not available on streaming services. I can understand your concern with vinyl and being on a budget. It's all good. I hope you will continue to be able to listen regardless of format for many years to come. Cheers!
flac files can sound better than rips from cds because flac files can be encoded from digital sources of higher resolution than the cd limit of 16 bit 44.1 khz. flac files can go to 24 bit and 192 khz and maybe even higher if the right settings are applied in the encoding software.

Hi, does anyone know if there will be any new Beatles albums released?
Really hoping they re release the Beatles in Mono,
I would imagine that Let It Be will be the next release, but we shall see.

If you do not have any collection of The Beatles, I'd say you'll do just fine with the 2009 Original Studio Recordings box set. If nothing else, you could get used copies of the ol' '87/'88 CDs.
I could also do that!

God help me I have this item, the Mono CD box, the stereo CD box, the stereo LP box,The fantastic mono LP box, the first two Capitol CD boxes(passed on the most recent one since they substituted UK versions of some of the songs, which defeats the point),The Sgt. tbh, i really don't like the 2009 remasters, they did a pretty awful job at stereo separation, specifically when using headphones.
I have all collection but I really want it!!! How much it cost?
I don't have it up for sale, so I am sorry, I cannot provide you prices on collectables. I recommend some independent research.
Could this be used as standard usb, or this one is read only like optical and burnt CDs??
That's a good question. I haven't tried to import anything onto the device, as I wouldn't want to mess anything up, this item being harder and harder to get these days. There's no indication on the packaging. I was able to back up the contents to a standard usb, that much I can tell you.

I was going to buy this until I realized on amazon in Canada it was 800$
Ouch! No way! Keep looking.
@Magical Mystery Mike - how much did you purchase this for?
If I recall, I was able to negotiate a pretty fair price on an auction site a few years ago. It was no more than $150. I mean, it's a very nice item, it's a rare collectable, and it has the entire output of official studio recordings from Please Please Me to Let It Be in FLAC files, but it's still a USB, and USBs fail. $500 asking price on some sites? Nope!
Magical Mystery Mike - Thankyou for the response!! I’m considering purchasing it from someone for $245 USD

Kool thanks alot 🙏🏽
@@jerebadine You're welcome.

The early stereo is certainly a little wonky, but still worthwhile to listen to for the different mixes to the mono. Mono is my go to as well, but I enjoy the stereo too!
I am to old for this. I have all Beatles records and casetts, usb!? No thanks, never. I imagine for young people it is treasure. Sorry.🙊🙉🙈

As for "Help" and "Rubber Soul", are they the original mixes or the George Martin re-mixes?
Mark Morrison the 2009 remastered 1987 George Martin remixes. The original stereo is included with the In Mono, or Japan Box.
@@MagicalMysteryMike thanks very much!
@@markmorrison4539 You are very welcome.
Cheers!

Ouch! They can be pretty pricey from 3rd party sellers.
Flac doesn’t sound better than CD though, they’re both lossless
It sounds good, but it's nothing I'd lose sleep over not having available.
flac files can sound better than rips from cds because flac files can be encoded from digital sources of higher resolution than the cd limit of 16 bit 44.1 khz. flac files can go to 24 bit and 192 khz and maybe even higher if the right settings are applied in the encoding software.

I thought these files were 96kHz / 24 bit resolution. I imagine they do sound better with more bit depth but if you're buying digital files on a USB stick I would expect a higher sample rate.
You would think they would be of the highest quality, but they're 24 bit 44.1 kbps. Not quite sure why. Still higher-than-CD quality.
I was initially disappointed with the 44.1 rate also. But the 24bit files sound really good. For me, it was a huge upgrade over the 80s cds.
Some of those 'ol 87s don't sound too bad. Granted, others do. The point is, we keep listening, and that's great ... whatever format!
@@MagicalMysteryMike When I first heard The Beatles on CD I thought it was fantastic. I don't know why people criticized the sound. Then naturally when the 2009 remasters came out and I heard those, I couldn't imagine going back to the '87s. It seems that every five years or so technology advances and we're able to eek out a little more sound from those original tapes.
I'm very happy they remastered the original mixes and I am also glad remixes are more forthcoming. This music definitely needs to be preserved.
Can the digital booklets be saved as jpeg file?
So this is a question you've really been trying to have answered, huh? I noticed you've asked on other videos and can't quite seem to get a response. I'm sorry to say that I am not certain, as I have not attempted to save the booklets as jpeg files.
