Not only is it just memory, there are spikes all over the place, and you have to time it so well on top of remembering which orbs you have to hit.

This is probably gonna be one of the hardest extremes to place since memory is pretty much trial and error
not trying to be that person but it’s play not place

@@puzzlepuddles6712 I mean, in most demons you know what to do, but with memory demons, you'll have to figure out the path first before you can actually really play the level
Even after figuring out the path, executing it with all the timings plus the end wave will probably make it top 1
The level's not just memory/trial and error, it's extremely difficult timing-wise as well
This level is way cooler than you think, the gameplay mechanics are so insane, trust me when you play it, you will see.

@@Kawaiisikkusu a year later but if I remember correctly it's played "between" Notes. So if you were to try to play it on piano there would be two keys that sound close but one is too high and the other one too low. The correct note is in between of them

Firework and Slaughterhouse had already destroyed Tartarus, now it's time for Limbo to give it a run for its money. I personally think this will be a memory demon harder than tartarus. Like if you took the timings of firework or the speed of slaughterhouse, and convert those aspects of gameplay into memory parts with the same relative difficulty, you've got Limbo as the result. Was that last part completely unintelligible? You're god damn right it was.
Limbo a is a long demon, so the timing are probably easier. But the length and memorization make it way harder

This part is stupid hard. The key movements are randomized and the corresponding colors are randomized so you can’t memorize the positions.
Though the wave itself is easy, it becomes almost impossible to do the wave, while tracking the keys at the same time. If you blink, you miss a movement and lose track, but you also need to make sure you don’t crash. Essentially look at 2 places at once, which is super hard
@@ThisIsStoneGD the key selected at the start does not correspond to a certain color, it's all randomized, so you have to track it. Considering how fast the keys move you pretty much have to look at it the whole time while doing the wave section
Thankfully the most extreme movement (the ones that flip the whole thing around) are scripted to happen always at the same point. So if you can keep track of the smaller movements it will be easier to understand where the key is when the bigger movements come.
And that’s where more memory comes in. You just gotta memorize how to move the wave so you can focus on the keys

Unless I miraculously get Flatline out, this will probably be a lasting top 1, although it has the pretty high likelihood based purely on it being a memory demon of either flying up the list, or crashing down the list
The gameplay itself without memory is hard extreme demon gameplay so yeah it would be pretty high.
The last part is like borderline impossible lol
You have to focus on that insane tracking while also waving
And you have to do it after the other parts of the level
how do you physically choose the right key?
@@pencilbox2214 I honestly have no idea. I feel like that will be one of the major chokepoints, because it is somewhat based on luck. Since the key movement and key position is random, you might be able to get one where it doesn't go crazy on you.
@@pencilbox2214 a bit late but you let go of the button when the key you want to choose is highlighted at the end. they always highlight in the same order, but like extreme cat said, the key that is chosen and how they are mixed up is randomized based on your inputs throughout the whole level up to that point, so you need to focus on the key while doing the mini wave spam

Limbo is tough to place but you need to have serious nerve control to remember what to do and to not get stressed which makes it difficult because of how long it is.
