Went there last March to cheer on my SDSU Aztecs. My best advice is to get in line very early so you have lots of time in the atrium. Life changing venue!

Don't do it. Its just a big screen. I would rather watch 4DX movie from theater. Oh it 1/4 of the sphere price. Yes, I just came out of it and felt like total rip off.

We were there about 2 weeks ago and loved the show Postcard Form Earth. It's like an IMAX film on crack, hopefully a director like Chris Nolan will make a full length feature film for that screen. We sat in the middle area on section 300, I think that's the perfect spot for show.

Great update! Curious about the toe. I had C3-C7 fused August 2022. About 5 months ago I began having foot pain while playing pickleball and it’s gotten better but still is a problem. Two podiatrists have told me it’s an arthritic big toe and fusion is the next step but to avoid it if I can, which I am for now. I still play competitively about 2 hours daily and it doesn’t hurt during but does after. Wondering if it’s just my gains screwed up from the initial trauma.

I went to Postcards from Earth last Saturday. I walked from the RIO. (2 miles) A long stroll but entertaining.
I only wish Issac Asimov were still alive to see Aura. His robot stories come to pass.
Great review Jay, do you know how long Post Cards from Earth will run? We are visiting next June so hoping it will still be on as we've no interest in seeing U2.
My guess since it was made specifically for the sphere, as long as people come it will be there.
Enjoyed the U2 show on October 13th. We also saw Postcard from Earth…. It was good. Not sure I’d see it again.

Thanks for the recommendation with BRERA osteria. I'm staying at Harrahs, would it better to walk over to the Venetian than to the Sphere? Or can you walk the back way out of Harrahs to the Sphere?

you can walk through the tunnel and where bridge concierge is but after that u need a ticket. You can walk outside around the plaza as well.

Can you buy tickets for a show a month or two in advance at the box office? I’m going to be in Vegas on November 29th, and I would want to buy tickets for the sphere experience for a date, possibly in January. I hate the ticketmaster fees, so saving on that would be huge

@@mmqpz the cheapest was $89 for a monday show at 4:30. Maybe i needed to buy them earlier.
@@Jaycation if you book months way in advance, there were some $49 tickets. To be honest, I wouldn’t pay $100+ for such a short show. But the show was awesome!👏 Breathtaking! 🤩

The Sphere has the world's 1st sound projection system. For instance section 300 hears the movie in Spanish while section 400 hears Russian.

Just fyi that was not the stage they perform on thats specifically for postcards. The stage for U2 is covered up and moved close to the 100's section

I recommend if you're high like the 400s, take a motion sickness pill or med. It helped for me for u2. The fear of heights is real lol.

The outside is amazing but the show was a ripoff. Tickets said two hour experience but the first hour was several talking robots and mostly places to buy overpriced food and drinks. One beer one soft drink and one candy $37. Show was ok but not amazing. Also, it was only 50 minutes in length. When it was over I asked my grandson what he thought. He gave me a hand going sideways meaning OK. Then I asked him about Flyover the experience on the Strip that only cost like $24 per person for locals. He gave it a thumbs up. We both agreed about the Sphere and Flyover. Sphere cost $250 for tickets Flyover $50. It’s was nice to say we went but I’d never go back.
