I have not tried oxymel before but I’m interested in trying now! I enjoyed watching you make it! Thanks for sharing! Awe your doggies are so cute I love the pic of you and them at the end💜💜
I will give it a try. I will probably leave out the lavender as I really don’t like eating flowers. I think it has to do with being a florist for many years. 😂
@@Audri_at_Auds-and-Ends haha, if you use a tiny bit it’s not overpowering the other really flavourful herbs like the sage and rosemary, it just rounds it up I would say. But you can use all the herbs you like. 😋
Loved this video so much💚 I enjoy making oxymels all the time and I really like the way you do it too very nice. I like oxymels for my family members who can not have alcohol. Also just a friendly tip...if you fill the container or use a smaller jar you can avoid oxidation. The apple cider vinegar is less harsh and pulls out the water sulible properties of the plant matter as well. Honey is water so it's great too. I think oxymels should only sit for a month and remain good to use for a year right? I'm a little rusty on my times lol 😂 Wonderful my sweet sister thanks for sharing your yummy recipe with us 😋
@@silversoulfox Thank you for the tip. I filled the jar up to the brim with additional honey and apple cider vinegar a day later. I bought more. 😅 I always let it sit for a month. And I think it remain good for a long time because honey and vinegar are preservative, right? I would say so. But this stuff doesn’t get old here! 😁 yeah you’re right, this is a perfect method to extract herbs without using alcohol. You can also only use vinegar but that’s not my fave (tastewise). I’m happy you liked the video my dear sister. 🖤💜💞
Have you ever got pricked by opening dried rose hips? The little fibers inside I guess are pointy 😂 Have you experienced this? I never tried this! I’ve heard of apple cider vinegar and honey mixed but never knew it had a name! Very neat 💕 Lots of butts 🍑 haha and the squeeze noise from the honey haha so fun to hang out with you! Loved the jar you used so cute✨ Thank you for sharing my beautiful friend 💖
@@thediscodesertgoddess haha no I was never pricked by that but I was lately pricked by a stinging nettle through the bag while cutting them for the seeds. Ouch! 😩 Yeah now you know the name for the mixture. 😋 🖤🍀
