- One of Europe's grandest and most beautiful hotels, the Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul sits on the banks of the Bosphorus, looking towards the Asian side of Turkey.
The hotel comprises an incredibly ornate and impressive 19th-century Ottoman Palace and a far more modern building dating from 1991. That second building houses the majority of the bedrooms and suites, as well as most of the restaurants, bars and amenities. In 2023, the hotel underwent its first comprehensive renovation since its early-90s opening, and this video tour shows one of the new-look rooms, a Ciragan Bosphorus View Room.
