I’m use to the Non X series you are correct. My tuner actually told me. Ima pin this post as to not give bad info. Just incase anyone runs into issues by not doing this.
Dude 😎 this is a great video I mean well done I especially like how you threw the tx Honda channel logo in like a old batman movie. Sweet content brother🍀👍🍻👌
@@TexasHondaChannel well it keeps all of us watching and I can tell you that alot of ppl on youtube get boring or half there video is them just talking it's boring
@@TexasHondaChannel straight to the point. You know we have the same learning disabilities and to keep are attention is hard to do so I enjoy and I've recommended your channels to everyone at work
Damn...aj ef is gone! You will be keeping yours right? I was so excited to see two on the channel, my favorites of all your cars I've seen so far. Great detailed video by the way!
Hi, when you connect an external AEM widband, do u leave out the original sensor? Does the computer know how to perform repairs using an aem sensor? Of course after connecting it to the ecu.
At the ecu I cut the white wire instead of tapping into it because the sensor under the hood would be putting a signal into the ecu as well as the aem. Now it’s only the Aem putting signal into the computer
Yes if you would likento datalog and make changes after a test pass . Where you can see numbers if it goes rich or lean at what rpm and you can make accurate changes .
Can you tell me where I can buy just the controller or like a model number on it or something. That's all I need as I have the bosh wide band sensor. I get good deals at work bc we sell bosh stuff
You will need to ground the brown wire, from the gauge, at the ECU. That is the ground reference for the gauge's voltage output.

@@TexasHondaChannel It's a slight added complication, installation-wise. But, it is worth it to get rid of ground offset errors. :)
@@lordandprotector not even a hard thing at all and I hate fighting offset lol
which wire on the ECU? I converted it from OBD2 to OBD1, but any answer helps
Where do i connect the brown wire? Lol. Just to any ground?
I love the yoshi he wants the Stoichios perfect 😂😂
Yes he is a smart yoshi

Good stuff man! Engine stand will be here Monday and I'mma start mine :D
Awesome!!!!!
Jamison is what what I’m talking about. Great video thanks.
Wide band o2 also puts out 0-5v dc… is the gauge basically putting out the same signal that’s coming from the o2?
I love the yoshi. I think im going to do mine with a squirtle.
The AEM guage looks badass!
I agree bro!
Love the yoshi addition

First comment !!! Love the content brother !!!!!
Awesome and thanks man appreciate it.
I was actually needing a refresher on this so this vid helped a lot !!!!
@@JdmxGod Awesome 👏🏻 glad it could help!
is that white power wire under the dash a stock wire?? is there something that usually goes to the port?
Was this for the x series boss ?
Sad that Lilith is gone but hey more content!
yea except he didn’t get a Honda so won’t be on this channel. The other channel though it can be on there
@@TexasHondaChannel either way I can’t wait to see what he got! I swear I love watching both your channels!
@@loganhicks3063 thanks 🙏🏻 we will reveal it on the channel regardless
Where you have the hot wire (port 3), what is the amperage?
Wondering if you can provide a link to the laptop you use?
For the white wire how come you just cut the wire and spliced the wideband into it and the other end of the wire is left alone?
At the ecu I cut the white wire instead of tapping into it because the sensor under the hood would be putting a signal into the ecu as well as the aem. Now it’s only the Aem putting signal into the computer
Would this fit in a Honda d series engine ?
Would that cast manifold clear the ac?
Yes it’s a a/c and powersteering compatible
where you get your valve cover from?
Do you have to connect the white wire obligatory?
Yes if you would likento datalog and make changes after a test pass . Where you can see numbers if it goes rich or lean at what rpm and you can make accurate changes .
What did your brother do with his EF hatch??
He traded it off. He hasn't been back to texas since he did that though. Kinda wanted to show what he got. I wish he had kept his ef though.
I guess that means I can stop work on modeling those velocity stacks then 😜
If you already started keep going! I will use them haha
Could I installed this but bypass the guage. I just need data login bc I have digital setup
I’m not exactly sure to be honest never it did it any other way.
Can you tell me where I can buy just the controller or like a model number on it or something. That's all I need as I have the bosh wide band sensor. I get good deals at work bc we sell bosh stuff
My afr isn’t connected to the ecu been running this way for 2 years
Bro, if you know anyone looking for an aem wideband, I have one for sale. 120 bucks, buyer pays shipping. It's brand new part# 35-8460
