How to install a Sur Ron Foot Peg support brace. Is a support brace for your sur ron necessary, is there a point to it?

In this video I show you how to install a foot peg brace bar thing on your sur ron. The one i have is some type of polymer or fiberglass. The better one i have linked in the description is made of aluminum and fits better. They say these foot peg braces help with safety, and lead to less broken foot peg braces. they also help with rigidity. I definitely felt a big difference, does the difference matter, thats a good question...
In this video is the Sur Ron (surron) electric dirt bike/ebike/electric bike/electric motorcycle aka sur ron x black edition / sur ron light bee x, not the storm bee or talaria sting.

This seems like the best one, it is probably better than the one I installed because it's aluminum and fits without hammer: amzn.to/3BGE7h2

The device you used to heat & remove the bolts, was that a soldering gun?
And if not would a soldering tool work to heat it up?
I am trying to get the bolts out right now to install the brace.

yeah i used a really old soldering gun from my grandpa lol. it got really hot and worked good enough

I'm not sure if a regular soldering pen tool would be hot enough but it might work!

Does your girl have a blow dryer you can use? That should work.

It's a brace not a stabiliser. If you're doing larger jumps etc the footpeg mounts can bend and the brace prevents that

If you have been "riding" for two years and not needed one, you are not "riding" hard enough:)

I couldn't install the Warp9 brace on my bike because it was too thick for the peg bracket, which had threads on it. Has anyone else had this problem with the Warp9 brace or is it just an overpriced garbage product? Also, why does it have a screw on each side? My old brace easily fit in and didn't need side screws. I tried installing it with and without them, but it seemed like they were just causing damage to the peg bracket.
