Awesome video. 👍 👍 👍 You always give such a good description of the book. I already have some of these on my TBR. I will have to pick up a few more. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Yay!! Josh and Hazel!!! I loved that one as well! Also it makes me so happy to hear you loved Wicked Saints! I recently bought it and haven’t heard great things but it just sounds SO GOOD and now I’m even more excited to read it!
YESSSS to everything you said about the pacing of Circe. 💖 One of my absolute faves and I agree 100% that it NEEDED to be that slow. So good. I also didn’t like volume 1 of Paper Girls AT ALL soooo maybe I’ll try continuing it sometime 👀
I use to love trying to predict were the story was going on next month's x-men issue back in jr high or next weeks episode on tv shows like Sopranos , always exiting wen you're right
How did I miss that you also looooooved City of GIrls?!??!!? It was my favorite book of the year also. :D UGH it's so fucking GOOD! Touching... and also hilarious?! I legit was CACKLING at certain points.
I've downloaded Roses and Rot on scribd and I'm really excited to start it! also I've seen City of Girls around but never really knew what it was about but now I'm SUPER intrigued!!! also yes The Turn of the Key was so good and the ending caught me completely by surprise!! I also listened to the audiobook and the narrator's voice was so perfect, in my opinion
You've added to my TBR, thank you. My number 1 "surprising & best read from 2019" was: Tell The Machine Goodnight. A beautiful debut novel by Katie Williams. It's about Pearl who has job working for Apricity, a company with exclusive rights to a machine. A machine that can tell people what they need to do, to be Happy. It sounds weird, & it was, but in a very good way.
I have readed Always never yours and it was a good book for me because I’m a sucker for romance books I don’t remember what I gave it for a rateing. All I know is I liked it.
I have loved all of Kelly Barnhill's children's novels (and her most recent adult short story collection), but The Girl Who Drank the Moon is definitely my favorite of them. Conversely, I also love all of Joshilyn Jackson's novels, but Never Have I Ever, although I liked it, is my least favorite of her books. Her other novels I ended up just tossing my schedule away and reading until I'd finished them. Who needs sleep, right?
I also fell in love with Heartstopper this year. I'm so glad that everyone kept talking about it!
I like how chill you are while doing your book reviews but you still get me amped up to read those books.
Definitely going to check out some of the ones I haven’t heard before so I’m excited. City of Girls definitely sounds amazing ❤️

I just finished Last True Poets of the Sea! Really liked it! Thought it had so much realistic teen rep.
I’ve been wanting to read The Girl in Red but I knew NO ONE that had read it. Thank you!
