These are fantastic business case studies, with immense variety in each situation, and Dave has valuable answers.
It's hugely beneficial to learn how to navigate such a wide variety of business issues. EXAMPLE: Dave's point at time 16:35 about how to retain a trained working staff by finding additional space came as a surprise to the caller, and was of huge benefit, because re-staffing a business, wow. Huge deal and not easy.

Andrew your going to have to include storage fees in your contract. This way your not loosing work to delays. You say it will be done within these three days. If the customer is not ready within the three days. It’s shipped to a storage lot at their expense.

In construction that doesn’t always work. Maybe extreme delays they will get money but it comes down to he needs a bigger lay down yard.

Could the storage price of the premade walls be passed on to the customer if they are delayed?

I would have some penalty for the customer late causing a job delay.

How does avoiding a 2% process fee to give a 2% discount benefit the company. All that would benefit is the customer.

It boggles my mind how such stupid people can be so successful, with every one of these questions I came up with the same and more solutions that Dave came up with. Common sense is a fucking superpower nowadays
