Author of rules_mojo here. Thanks for mentioning the project ❤ Few notes: - The generic part we already have is that it works on all Linux distros (as opposed to just Ubuntu for the "official" installer). - GPUs don't work *yet*, but we have large parts of the infra that will be required ready. - I expect Mojo to leverage at least parts of LLVMs offloading infrastructure. We have upstream variants of that infra for C++ readily available, so it shouldn't be too hard to add support to rules_mojo once the mojo compiler allows targeting GPUs. - Note that Python interop should technically work, but is not tested and will currently require significant know-how of the python toolchain, Bazel, and Nix. I'm still evaluating whether we want to use classic Bazel Python infra for this or straight up skip all the old stuff and start from scratch with an automated Rust-based `uv`+`ruff` ruleset for Python. Realistically it'll likely be the latter, because it's more bleeding edge 😈
The Groq x Mojo "Ah ha!" moment you had is the type of gold nugget info that we don't get on other channels! Neo4J visualization was very cool. Looking forward to the interviews :)
Love your energy 💖and enthusiasm in this vlog! You have a great presence on camera, and it's clear you put a lot of effort into creating engaging content. Keep up the great work!
I worked with Neo4j for year. I love graph databases but now that I know more about LLM's and Neural Networks I always see way that software could be adapted. So exciting to see you doing interviews with people in the industry. Great video.
