Can you explain how the sounds you recorded played back like an avant garde track without you altering anything between recording/playback? It looks like you don't touch the pitch control so I wasn't sure if it was the foil trick that did it or something I just couldn't notice. Great video though! Can't wait to pick one of these fostex's up

I think is explained on the video. I use tin foil to make overdubs while changing the pitch on the fly

does this model fostex have a different sound or character vs something like a tascam porta studio or Yamaha mt4x?
@afk_hesh can’t compare with those machines. Certainly it has a lot of character due the natural tape saturation
