Dakota Jones I have/had both. I bought the RSV4 2x. BMW I sold within 5 months. Aprilia has more character.
people are still haunted by the idea that italian bikes always brake down, nowadays when there is an issue with a italian bike wether its ducati or aprilia or mv agusta, its probably an electrical issue, but we need those electrical systems to keep that horsepower on the road, but i would pick an italian over a german or any japanese bike, those bike just dont have any character.

I would’ve picked the RSV4 over the H2 last go around but no way in hell I’d take it over the new S1000. I’m not even a BMW guy I’m an in-line 4 guy plus the looks and that display my goodness the S1000 is where it’s at.
Those bikes sitting on the driveway just changed that young mans life for ever. He couldn’t wait to talk to you and touch the bikes.

Love the video bro! I really enjoy my 2017 S1000RR but I have been looking at the 2020 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory edition to add to our fun as I really loved my older Aprilia Tuono v4r. If it was between that 2020 S1000RR and that 2019 Aprilia 1100 Factory Edition, it would be the Aprilia for sure. I agree that Aprilia needs to do a bit of some minor updates on the Aprilia RSV4 line, but overall it is an awesome machine and that V4 growling motor sound just makes those normal inline 4 motors sound weak. I do wish there was more local dealer and support for the Aprilia as that is why i sold my older Aprilia and bought a BMW.
Both bikes are true masterpieces!
I hope to see some modern LED lights on the next Aprilia RSV gen... couse this vintage lights are too old school for such a beauty 🤘

we need to start seeing the RR-R fireblade in your videos. the new one - its immense ! with an akrapovic on it, and a remap, hits 230bhp+ - honda even sell a limited edition matt carbon kit for the bike in europe - limited to 250 units - carbon front and rear fenders, tank, bellypan and a red HRC cap for the engine.
Unfortunately the US model Will be limited quite a bit compared to the Euro one, the Euro one Is dynoing over 200 at the tire, the US model has been declared to be 180hp, so not the same 200+hp monster europe Will get...

@@paulwren1722 the fireblade has no power until high rpm, even an old CBR1000RR Is making way More power at mid RPM than the new rr-r, but the peak figures and power after 10k-12k RPM on the 2020-2021, Is huge

I’ve ridden one it’s far from gutless. The problem is the akraprovic butterfly valve system to keep noise emissions down after 6k in first gear the valve opens and it’s a straight through sounds like a motogp bike. You can remove it all and it’s making a lot more power. Up to 210hp at the back tyre for an in-line 4 is incredible. But it is basically a track bike based on the rc213 race bike. They are designed to make power in the upper rpm range that’s how you ride them. It’s why the Irwin brothers in the uk are already hitting top 5 positions without much work on the stock race bike. The problem with road riding is that people like to be lazy with gear changes and it’s not how you ride the new blade. It’s like a 600cc on steroids and a lot of fun. Honda can’t win to be honest. They went balls out with the new bike and people say it’s not a good road bike and basically the new one is for tracks to certify for bsb and wsb. It hits 300kph in 4th gear. The rr bike is still for sale and it’s a better road bike but everyone slags it too !

If you're wondering why people never take the Aprilia it's because of the servicing. Dealerships that service are almost nowhere to be found and I'm in NY.

how is the reliability of the 2020 RR-s in the US? We have a lot of problems with them in the EU...brake, engine and other good stuff, every man who bought it that I know has sent back the bike because of engine problems around 1T miles....ridicoulus.

The Aprilia will never go before a BMW (or many others). Not because it's a bad bike.It's not. It's frikkin' fantastic. Especially the way you guys built it. It's the atrocious lack of support. Where you gonna take it if it breaks or need service? 200? 300? 500 miles? ...more? ...if it breaks; need a trailer. If it's just service; may need an overnight hotel to ride it there (or two). BMW? just down the road ...yamaha, kawi, honda ...just down the road. You adopt an Aprilia and can't/won't do EVERYTHING yourself=screwed. Aprilia are beautiful bikes and I've owned a Tuono 1100RR myself. I loved it! The sole reason it's not in my garage right now is support. Period.

My 2010 RSV4 has a cold start problem a lot like that BMW, I still don't have a fix and neither does the dealership.

The only tough thing about rsv4 is finding a shop near you. I thinking that’s why no one has gotten it. Because that thing is straight 🔥 absolutely would track this thing every chance I got.
The Aprilia is often over looked but this specific setup is beyond gorgeous! The sun hit it just right & gave it justice. Sounds great & looks it as well. Wouldn’t mind picking one up here in the future.
