    This is a summary of this video:
    1. Wet hair; seal that water in your hair with grease;
    2. Trim your hair ends;
    3. Henna thickens hair strands;
    4. Protective styling to protect your hair ends;
    5. Prayer.

      @Renee Tate Your outrage is for the creator of this video, not for this simple summary of this video. It's clear you have not watched this video.
      You both are saying to wet your hair, and seal in the moisture with grease/oil. I prefer the communication skills presented in this video better. Thank you. Bye.

    I didn't put a thumb up until she mentioned prayer. I am also a strong believer in that. God do care about everything concerning us even the little strands of hair on our head. When I was going through my alopecia struggle I pray to him strongly and I had a dream of me growing long and healthy hair, immediately I had a though about using natural ingredients to grow my hair out. It is now 3 years in my journey and my hair is long and healthy.

      Leave the scalp alone is another great way to grow hair. Keeping the scalp clean and using anti breakage routines on your hair will help it grow

    My go to style is mini-twist I retain a lot of length. I use grease on my ends to seal in the moisture and trim when needed( veryyy important!!! the longer you hold on to split ends the more you will have to cut!!)

      I am about to start mine back. Should've never cut them after growing mine for 17/18 yrs. My fro just doesn't wanna pop right.
      My fro was getting big then I don't know what the heck happened. Maybe because I didn't wear a protective style. I just wash, condition,grease, air dry, pick out and go!.
      Now I'm like what the hell did I do wrong! Lol

    I 100% Stand by this video . I promise my hair didnt start growing until I left it alone . Passion twist and faux locs , In that order . I've noticed my hair each time has grown over 1 1/2 - 2 inches each time I use minimal to no heat on my hair , My hair is thicker my curl pattern has flourished and I haven't had a perm in 10 years . Im pretty sure If stretched my hair would probably touch almost my mid back past shoulders :)

    Your curls are define so less detangle meaning less breakages. I did it every three days to a week and my hair grew well in 2 years

      I have been doing wash and gos with gel. Only thing is that is makes my hair crunchy. But my hair seems to be growing well from a bald head. Maybe about four-five inches in 7 months. Maybe I will keep doing it and try to incorporate greasing the scalp 🤷🏾‍♀️ how did you manage the hardness/dryness?

      I did too untill I started using aloe vera juice or gel in the LCAB moisturizing method. First damp hair with water then use a moisturizing leave in like Kinky curly knot today or Oyin honey miracle, then spray aloe vera juice that closes the cuticle and moisturizes and lastly seal with a shea butter mix or grease. Keeps your hair soft and moisturized for days!

    My hair grows about 4 -5 inches a year and I know this because I died my hair to the root and a year later there was 5 inches of new growth but I didn't retain any of it 😥 I've realised that my hair must need trims every 2-4 months. For protective styles (best way I see length) I know it may seem crazy but I band my hair after I wash it then it's stretched. Then I oil my scalp EVERYDAY and massage with the vita goods one. And I use a wide tooth comb (which I've only just bought....how... I know) I see no breakage combing it dry because it's stretched. I see barely any shedding either. I have 4b/3b in some areas. 💕 I seem to be seeing more length ever sin see I've been consistent! 🔑🗝

      I just bleached and dyed my hair and one thing I can say is that I need more moisture and protein than I ever did before. Trims have been needed more too, but its not that much that needs to be trimmed like it was prior to me coloring. Colored natural hair takes more patience and care, so I understand where you are coming from.

    My hair was really long and now it keeps breaking off for year and has stayed the same length since I stop using grease. I feel silly for not realising🤦🏾‍♀️

    Girl you know we want to see the video of how you keep your hair soft and your grease regimen. 🙂 I dont know how much my hair grows a month or a year. It always looks the same length because I get scissors happy ALL the time. 😬💇🏿‍♀️ I'll start paying attention on my growth now after I give myself 1 or 2 more 'trims' I tried a homemade henna gloss 2 weeks ago. Even tho I rinsed thoroughly & washed the remaining out with a cowash and deep conditioned my hair was stiff & parched (dryer than normal) & my scalp was itchy. The next week I followed up with Rhassoul clay wash then conditioned and deep conditioned. And my hair is so soft! But yes my strands do feel & look stronger with the henna gloss.

    As an adolescent with stubborn acne, a dermatologist instructed me to shampoo daily. I negotiated a more realistic schedule of shampoo every other day, conditioner & generous applications of Blue Magice grease from scalp to ends. During my days of Motherhood I've neglected myself from head to toe, which includes affirmation, meditation & prayer. Thanks for the Spiritual Practice reminder. These days my hair care includes giving myself small bald patches by plucking out 30 hairs fishing for 2 grey hairs at my hairline. EXTRA....smh😏

    I definitely need help with my hair. I went natural because of my medication. I have hypothyroidism and I found out that my medication and perms did not mix, causing my hair to fall out badly (imagine long hair in some places with bald spots in others). I had always had long hair until this happened and I had to get it cut. I have been natural since 2013 but my hair is confusing. It will start to grow for a while and then it will fall out and get short again. I put my hair in corn rolls every night so I never sleep with my hair loose and I have a satin cap and pillowcase. I have tried all types of natural shampoos, conditioners, deep conditioners, greases, and hot oil treatments. Right now I am using the Carol's Daughter line of products. It's a little high but it has been pretty good to my hair. Unfortunately, my hair is dry within 2-3 days so I am constantly moisturizing my hair. Hopefully the tips in this video will help me solve this problem.

    My scalp hates grease. It flakes up really bad and I'll get sore spots and I'll have to wash it out. I use grease as a sealant, but I use oil on my scalp.
