- Several opposition leaders, in the motion of thanks on the President's Address in Lok Sabha, slammed the government over Manipur Violence. Inner Manipur MP from Congress party, Angomcha Bimol Akoijam said the government had been a "mute spectator" on the Manipur violence for over a year. Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi asked the PM why he hasn't visited Manipur ever since the violence started there in May 2023. TMC MP Mahua Moitra also slammed the government for not stopping the violence in a "burning Manipur".

Manipur is treated, as if it is not a part of India? I don't know why is it being treated like this by the central Government since one year, in the midst of great fighting and killing between the people of that state. The violence was ignored by the state government as well as the central government. Our prime minister is capable of solving international problems and very famous in his words and in actions. Why he was ignoring the great violence in Manipur? Why they are enemies? Iam not able to understand. Acting as if Manipur not a state of our India. Very painful parciality and cruelty. Our governments are for protecting the citizens and our country from any type actions against our rules and regulations. People are electing the governments, not for their personel comforts, journeys or fame in front of the world. Once they gets the Chair and power, they act as kings and people as beggers standing at their door for 4:37 kindness for their rights for protections of their wealth and life. Very disappointing condition in a Democratic Country like India.

Who is murmo the Indian president? We don't know her at all.
60 years of Congress did nothing, which would be an exaggeration. So the state voted for the BJP govt. and all they did was yap their mouths and do nothing and infact they have made the hatred worse due to some acts they did to win the election especially in the hills which made people insecure.
We voted for a changed and developed Manipur and India in 2019 and 2014 respectively but all we get is whataboutry. I still remember when the Centre in around 2015/16 told the State govt., which was Congress majority, to stop begging when the later said why must we beg for financial aid from the Centre.
And for all the Andhbhakts, the new MP (mind you we voted for him not his party) was elected so that he could atleast make our voices be heard in the Parliament. The previous (BJP) MP did not utter a word in the 1 year of violence.
And about the British or the Congress, we can't bring back the previous govts or the British and tell them to solve the problems, the current govt., because they are the Govt. elected by the people, inherited those problems are now responsible for the people's problem. Thats why we are a democracy.
