    🌿Thank you for sharing this informative video showcasing some of Seattle's suburbs. I'd love to see you explore Mill Creek in a future video - our 'master planned' city features top-rated schools, 23 miles of private hiking trails, and a range of resort-style amenities, including a tennis club, swim club, Country Club, and an excellent golf course. With a strong focus on safety and community with a 25 mph speed limit and a restriction on campers and parked cars, Mill Creek offers a unique blend of recreation, convenience, and tranquility. The non-rush hour travel time to South Lake Union (SLU) in Seattle and to Amazon in Bellevue is only 23-26 minutes, and sharing very similar commuting times with Sammamish and Issaquah. Discover Mill Creek! 🏡

      Yes, it would be fun to do a video featuring Mill Creek - it's a wonderful community indeed. And I love the golf course there! Thank you for watching, for taking the time to leave a comment, and for this great suggestion!

    I grew up in Issaquah..Gilman Blvd. was part of the freeway back then.

      Love Issaquah!!!! I live here myself… Probably one of my favorite places around, due to convenience to everything and the beautiful nature. I did not know that Gilman was part of the freeway.

      @@dariuscincys Indeed.. Issaquah had only 1200 people back then and Gilman had a few motels, diners and the Greyhound station.. And there were no traffic lights.. Just some stop signs here and there in the whole town. It was great back then..unlike today where it's a traffic congested mess 16 hours a day.

    Why Education Hill and Mercer Island where left out the list?

    • @michaeladams9629
      @michaeladams9629 8 місяців тому +1

      Education Hill is not a town or city, it’s just part of Redmond. I used to own the original house on top of the hill.

      Thanks, Michael - you beat me to responding. Yes, Education Hill is a neighborhood in Redmond (a very popular neighborhood). And Mercer Island is also an excellent place to live. If I did not limit my video to only 5 areas, it would have most certainly been included. And I guess these areas are all subjective - and it would't surprise me at all if someone had Mercer Island at the top of their list!

    pls do a video of cheaper more affordable places than these

    • @dariuscincys
      @dariuscincys  5 місяців тому

      Yes, I can certainly do that. Thank you for the great suggestion. Perhaps I will plan out and film a "top 5 areas to buy where home prices are under $1M" or something along those lines.

    The problem with this top 5 list is that these are the most expensive real estate market even higher than Seattle. The median housing prices are unattainable for most people. Should consider other cities like Renton, Federal Way, and Kent.

    • @dariuscincys
      @dariuscincys  6 місяців тому

      Hey Kevin - I completely agree with you. Those are the most expensive areas, but also offer best schools, closest proximity to major employment hubs, etc. But Renton, Federal Way, Kent (and many others) are also excellent options. I have done videos on some of them... and perhaps I should create another video for "Best cities with housing under $X" - that would give people more options. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave a comment - and giving me a great idea for future content!

    You have one UA-cam Realtor saying people are moving "out of" Issaquah, Sammamish, etc. and then you're saying there's a high demand for people wanting to move to these areas. Which is true? Either you're considered to be steering or the other Realtor is [intentionally] leading people away from these areas/neighborhoods. Either way, both are simply confusing folks. Ugh.

    • @dariuscincys
      @dariuscincys  3 дні тому

      I'm sorry you feel that way, and that if various videos are contradicting each other. As it pertains to these neighborhoods, both can be true. The values in these areas here in King County have gone up significantly, so there are some people moving away to other areas (or states) that are a bit more affordable, and home prices are lower. At the same time, for many buyers and families moving to the area, these are very attractive places to live, and there's certainly a strong demand for homes.

    They are all absolutely terrible. I wouldn't recommend moving here... I mean there. It stinks and it's expensive and it rains all the time. Don't move here!. I mean there...

      Where would you recommend people move?

    • @Ivanfbi
      @Ivanfbi 2 місяці тому

      @dariuscincys anywhere but here i guess... traffic is bad as is, and with the layout of Seattle metro area, all traffic runs north to south, creating big bottlenecks on I-5 and I-405.

    Sammamish and Issaquah are too fucking far away from everything

    • @dariuscincys
      @dariuscincys  4 місяці тому +3

      Well, I guess that depends on where you work/need to be. For those working on the east side (Bellevue, or Redmond, for example), it's actually very close and easy to get to. It is a bit of a longer commute from downtown Seattle... but still not bad. Either way - thank you for watching the video - I appreciate the support!
