How to knit the Mock Cable Ribbing stitch: A two-row repeat pattern - So Woolly

Today, I’m sharing the Mock Cable Ribbing knit stitch, a two-row repeat pattern, easy to knit. The only techniques required are knitting and purling, plus a little twist ;)
The Mock Cable Ribbing can be used to substitute the normal 2 x 2 Rib stitch, or as the main stitch, perfect for scarves, blankies, cowls, etc.

I used this pattern for my collar where I knitted up and down. I also want to use this pattern for my armhole border, but knit in the round. How do I do that????

Instead of doing the row 1-knit2, purl2 repeats, I just did Knit 2nd stitch , then knit 1st stitch drop both and purl 2 repeats. So it was a one row repeat. I got a reversible pattern.
