MashaaAllaah. Ustadh Nouman helps us to go deep into the first few verses of Surat an Naazi'aat and explains how the scholars differed into 5 main interpretations. Then he goes into a long rant, lol as is usual from him, to break tafseer down as a science and explain why it is okay for laymen to interpret the Qur'aan and what are the limits of such interpretation. He also chooses a position, which is always helpful for us beginner students, and even adds a question that has boggled the minds of mufassireen for centuries: Why did the Prophet not give the interpretation for most of the Quraan? Why did he comment on very few verses? I live in only one land...Noman land. NAK for life! May God preserve him aameen!

Years ego, I did an Estekhara(استخاره) by Quran to see if we could have a child, anytime soon? When I opened the book, it was this surah. Reading the ayat, I could see the process of conceiving a baby, in an educational film!
You are right, there are many ways to interpret the Quran!

I listen your lecture on Surah Naziaat. Sir I have a question.
Sir can I say that in this surah ALLAH Almighty is talking about human being and Quran. As when we start reading and understanding Quran its seems hard for us. But when we try to understand, its become more easy to understand. In your lectures you compare Quran with ocean. So same when we read Quran is like sweaming in it and finding the soulation for our problems. For Muslim Quran is source code. We find the planning and tadbeer from Quran.

Those are NAK's words but he seems to be saying that ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said so, which is completely wrong. ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) never said so; he's being misquoted. Because some Ayat is not meant to be Understand by them, but by us.
So it could be a proof for us, that The Qur'an is not a Man-Made book written 1400+ years ago.
Because some things, can only be Understood by us, who live long after The Book was Revealed.

I have issue believing in grave fire 🔥 punishment. I saw Pharaoh's body in the museum, he was biggest arrogant leader on earth , yet he's body had no burnt mark. In archaeology people dig people , but no fire. In chapter two Allah says when we die our souls return to Allah and the body is for the earth. If the grave punishment is to be believed then our soul would be returned to the body again for punishmentand taken again, that would be second time.. But human dies only once one earth. But I know in Arab culture people used to Bury people in graves as part of punishment. Once I was not well and angel took my soul to the sky angels on both side , I was anxious but then I read shahadah ,
I felt calm, so I know our souls return ,we still have our hands feet smile etc .
I am open to some clarification.

The quran itself tells us Allah has made the quran easy to understand but here you are telling us how many interpretations can be made of just a few verses. Which means young Muslims question why didn't Allah make the quran not complicated? Some even older ones say we shudnt ask too many questions though as you say we ARE supposed to ponder!! So this surah makes that point right for those who ask why hasnt Allah made the quran easy to understand? Confusion and so not easy to come to. That's the situation I see with young Muslims.

That is a totally false analysis and fallacy...Check the relation between Chapters 37 & 79 and then try to deduct a conclusion. The relation between the chapters confirms the interpretation of Angels. (There are some Islamic scholars who talk about the science of "relation between Quran chapters")

Ustad. Can I make a suggestion please: when you read the ARABIC TAFSEER, we loose interest. It becomes boring and too long. So we loose interest in your precious lecture. So please can you please avoid reading the tafseer in Arabic and just tell us the Urdu/English translation of it. Please aap ghar say homework kr k aya Karen. Thank you. Please don't mind. Just a humble request and suggestion from your little sister. Thank you.
No judgement or hate but personally I greatly appreciate learning more about the Arabic language through these lectures and also may understand it better if i hear it in Arabic sometimes, I’m willing to bet there’s a great deal of people who feel the same way.
