Both sony and ms have made the right moves in the recent years. Ms putting games to ps5 day 1 and sony putting games to pc and switch day 1. Hopefully one day we can just pick our favourite plastic box and play any game we want with it.
It is SO hard for me to switch to PC although I'm so fed up with the game prices on Playstation's prices. However, if any price increase occurs or physical media dies, I will trust Valve to have my digital collection over Sony.
I don’t have a problem with Xbox games going over to PlayStation. I have a problem with the possibility that the next console won’t sell much and therefore developers won’t bother porting games to it and then the Xbox ceases to be a console. What happens to all my games and DLC that I’ve purchased over the years?
No platform is gonna exist forever, even steam. Nothing lasts forever. If you truly want to own your games until your death, you would have to make multiple digital copies of them on different SSDs because even SSDs can die.
Microsoft might just leave the servers up and not let you buy anything while still having access to your old games? That’s just wishful thinking on my end though that has never happened
They dont listen to the community where Battlefield concerned thats why there last few games are failing. Also there multiplayer content its always full on release for about 3-4 months but then no one playing it and there lobbies are empty. They can never maintain there multiplayer base with new content maps skins etc etc. There to slow putting out new stuff to keep you engaged to keep playing there games.
Potential Future Timeline: -Xbox Ports Games to PlayStation, including successful Xbox owned live service games -Steady release cadence from 30+ Studios -Over 10 years builds a dedicated fanbase on PlayStations platform because of solid games -Sony is busy resetting all their game studio projects due to lost PS5 era (9 cancelled games, who knows if more) 10 year contract deal for CoD on Playstation is up. Microsoft no longer needs to share CoD or any games with PlayStation. Remember all Xbox games will have cross progression, cross save, buy once play anywhere. Xbox finally pulls their games, fanbase will follow after being accustomed to their games over the years. They don’t have to worry about where they move. This is the long game. They’re using PlayStation and also building the exodus plan for PlayStation gamers when they eventually turn to Microsoft customers. If PS made an App like Gamepass, it wouldn’t stand a chance against Gamepass after 10 years. Sony is on a 10 year timer and that’s why they’re desperately trying to get a live service game of their own. Risky play for a company like Sony specifically.
I think most playstation fans know the war over we known for a while with how badly the xbox Console has been selling. We won. The xbox fans that all so know it over now ran over to Pc

I used to be a nintendo then pc guy but the ps4 and ps5 generation has been mu favorite so far.
Fable has never had character customization and only 2 and 3 let you choose boy or girl.

@ Fair point.

The cloud will be there, xbox will still have a store you login to, either on PC, smart TV's or firestick!
I haven't seen anything for me to say stream is the best, nothing at all. I'm very happy staying on m ps5 pro
