2: 253. *Those are the Messengers, We have given the privilege to some of them upon others, among them is someone to whom Lord Allah spoke directly, some among them He raised high in ranks, and We have given Jesus-the son of Maryam-clear Signs and We have to Strengthen him with the Holy Spirit; if Allah had wished, the people who came after them wouldn’t have fought against one another once clear Signs had come to them. However, they disagreed. Then among them is the one who believed and among them is the one who disbelieved; if Allah had wished, they wouldn’t have fought one another, but indeed Allah does what He Intends.*
Before revealing this verse, some verses had been revealed explaining about the Messengers before. It is told in verse 40: 78: “We have sent Messengers before you, among them is the one We have explained upon you, while among them is one We haven’t explained to you; no Messenger can bring any sign unless it is with Lord’s Permission, once Lord’s command comes, matters will be decided with the Truth, and the falsehood makers will loss out”. It is told in verse 4: 164: “And to Moses Lord did speak directly”.
Believers should glorify Lord and pray to Him immediately on awakening from the sleep: “Glory is to you Oh the Lord of Jibreel, Michael, Israfeel, Azrael, the Creator of heaven and earth, the only Knower of the seen and unseen, our Lord and the Lord of everything, and the Dealer of its Dominion, we seek refuge unto You from the evils of every creature, of whom You hold the forelocks. On the Day of Judgment, You will judge among Your servants in what they are differing, so You guide us into the Straightpath with Your Permission Adhikr in what they are different in the Book, Indeed, none is there to guide except You”. See explanation 2: 62, 176, 213, and 7: 143.

First miracle of Prophet Isa PBUH in the quran is he spoke as a baby on his mother arms.
First miracle of Jesus in the bible is he turning water into wine in John 2 - 11 .
Which is more amazing. Speaking as a baby to protect his mother? Or turning water into wine? If protecting the mother is not an amazing feat. Then surely the christians do not love Jesus as much as we muslim do.
Christianity of today is following the teachings of Paul. Not Jesus. Christianity of today has been corrupted. They go against ghe teachings of Jesus. In John 14 verse 15 Jesus said, "If you love me, you will keep the commandments" . Unfortunately the christians of now, do not love Jesus. They love Paul period!

According to the Quran, If this baby Jesus prophesized a day that he will die, and "to be raised up to be lived once more", why do most Muslims interpret a later Quran chapter about an adult Jesus avoided death altogether on the cross because of some far out theory that someone magicaly switch bodies with Jesus while Jesus ascends to heaven soon after? Doesn't this contradict baby Jesus prophesy? Muslim leaders love to accuse the Bible as corrupt, but I challenge Muslims to look into the Christian New Testament themselves to fill in the missing gaps in Quran version of Jesus. Details like WHY Jesus was on trial and condemn to cruel death in the first place. You'll find that this adult Jesus said something much more profound at this critical trial than simply saying "I am God's servant" like baby Jesus.

Isa(as) was physically transported to a higher realm. He was alive when it happened, and remains alive therein to this very day. Later, in the future, he will return and spend the rest of his days on Earth, and then will he pass away. Then after that, he will be brought back to life on the Day of Resurrection, as all must. There's no incoherency in that.
      Qur'an 19:30-33
He said: "Certainly, I am the ʿabd of Allah. He gave me the Book and made me a Prophet.
And He has made me blessed wherever I am, and has enjoined (on) me [of] the prayer, and zakah, as long as I am alive.
And dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant.
And peace on me the day I was born, and the day I will die, and the Day I will be resurrected; alive."
So the day he was born was in his past already. The day I will die is in his future, and is still in the future, even from our perspective. The resurrection is in the hereafter.
If you read those verses again, you'll notice he's addressing future events and what future peoples will say and believe about him. He's already prophesying. First he addresses the idea that he's the supposed 'only begotten' Son of God. He identifies himself as the ʿabd of God, instead. And this is something that most Christians have a very shallow understanding of, because of how the Greek is translated in English Bibles. But the word doúlos means sl/.\Ve and I'm misspelling it on purpose because of YT's strictness regarding certain words. But it always meant sl/.\Ve in all pre-Christian Greek literature. It doesn't mean servant. The word for servant and handmaid would've been ypirétis, which doesn't show up anywhere in the NT for as far as I'm aware. And this dynamic between God and the believer, as Lord and sl/.\Ve, is more prominent in the New Testament than the Father and child relationship.
      Luke 1:38
εἶπεν δὲ Μαριάμ Ἰδοὺ ἡ δούλη Κυρίου
eipen de Maryam, idou hē doulē Kyriou
Then Maryam said: "Behold! (I am) the sl/.\Ve of [the] Lord (God)!"
Maryam(as) receives the news of the conception, and she accepts it by humbly submitting herself to whatever God wills. Also notice her name in Greek: Maryam, not Mary.
      Mark 3:35
man d'n'aḇed gēr ṣi-eḇyānāh d'ălāhā hū'yuw aḥāi wǝ ḥāṯāi wǝ ˀemmāi
Indeed; who[ever] sl/.\Ves (in conformity with) [the] will of Allah, (then) such is [like] my brother, and my sister, and my mother.
That's from the Aramaic Khabouris Codex. Look at the second word in the transliteration. That's a verb form of the noun ʿabd. So the verse is saying, and this is attributed to Jesus, by the way, that the believers are those who work according to God's guidelines and commandments. Jesus has a spiritual kinship with the sl/.\Ves of God. He compares them to his own mother, and his mother already said that she was the doulē of the Lord God. Obviously, this terminology had no negative connotations to them. Unlike today, which is why you read "servant" and "handmaid" in your English translations. And this terminology shows up again and again. It's all over the place.
      James' Epistle 4:7
ištaˁbaḏūw hāḵēllˀălāhā wǝ qōmūw luqḇal sāṭānā wǝ eˁraq men-kūwn
[Seek to] ensl/.\Ve yourselves then unto Allah, and stand [strong] opposite [to the] satan, and flee [away] from you [he will].
Here it says that the believers can resist the satanic influences of this world by submitting themselves to God's Law. So by becoming a sl/.\Ve of God. The meaning of that isn't open to interpretation, as the author goes on to mention the Sacred (revealed) Law of God no less than four times in verse 11. It refers to following the commandments that God gave us via His prophets.
The meaning of Zakah in the Quranic verse above isn't restricted to just paying a kind of tax for the poor. So Isa(as) still prays to God in the Second Heaven, and he still 'gives' to God whatever God enables him to give, and whatever that entails in his current reality. Note that Muhammad(saw) physically visited the Second Heaven during the Isra wa Miraaj, and he met Isa(as), along with Yahya(as). So you don't have to be dead to go there or to exist in that realm.
The verse says that Isa(as) isn't made to be a "wretched tyrant", but at no point in time was Jesus ever accused of tyranny. He never had the power to oppress people or treat the masses unjustly. So what does that mean? Here, he's referring to the distant future. After he comes back, there are going to be people who accuse him of being a tyrant. Why? Because upon his return, no religion except for Islam is going to be accepted anymore. He will "break the cross" and "abolish the Jizya tax", meaning that Christianity will be permanently refuted. The doctrine of the cross, i.e. salvation through the belief in the sacrifice of Christ on the cross, will be nullified by Jesus himself. And no more Jizya means that you cannot remain a Christian in the end times. You either accept Islam, or there's war, and war there will be, as we all know. So the enemies of the believers will then say that Jesus is a tyrant, but the reality is that he will enforce God's religion, and fight those who disbelieve. That's not tyranny. But this is still in the future. Prophet Yahya(as) probably has a role to play, too, according to some exegetes, because of his story in the Qur'an, and the clear overlap between him and Isa(as), but that's not important now.
Why did they want him dead? Because the Romans hadn't forgotten about the Jewish revolts at the time of the Greeks. They were not going to allow anyone claim authority over the Israelite peoples. So when there's word of a King Messiah emerging, going around, the Romans are going to do everything they can to stop that movement in its tracks. According to the Tanakh, the servant that Christians identify as Christ, actually represents all of Israel throughout time. This is clear from those texts, and that's how the Jewish exegetes have always interpreted it. What this means, is that the Messiah cannot be killed by his enemies. If this Messiah character dies, then he wasn't the Messiah to begin with. So killing him would disprove the claim and dissolve the movement. And so they must've tried to capture him, but when they couldn't, or when he disappeared; they staged a faux crucifixion. That's my opinion. "It was made to appear so to them" probably means that it was the Romans who orchestrated the crucifixion of some man, and played it off as if this was Jesus. I can explain this theory in detail; how it could work, and how it backfired. It can also pertain to the Gospels. It's the Gospels that made it appear to the masses as if Jesus had been executed, after all.
The Qur'an differentiates between dying and being killed. The verse says "peace on me the day I will die", and it doesn't say "the day I'll be executed". Also, getting crucified wouldn't be a very peaceful way to go, right? So the Messiah wasn't supposed to die or be killed, as that would effectively mean the extinction of the Twelve Tribes, and the Jewish peoples remained in the world to this day, which means that Isa(as) hasn't died yet. Islam checks that box: Christianity does not. Read the Epistle of James. Where's the crucifixion and resurrection? Where's the dogmatic doctrine of the cross? James doesn't include any of that in his Letter because he didn't believe in it. It never happened. Not to the historical Isa(as), at least.

@@XaeeD I'm going to save everyone's time from whatever mental gymnastics you just wrote down. Jesus' claim of being the son of God is what the Pharisees were so upset about that they use it to condemn him to death. Don't ask questions if you're not looking for replies. As to the "son of God" thing; that does not inply Divinity, and the Jesus in the Gospels refutes that interpretation in his response to the Pharisees. Also, the fact that they believed that a claim of being God in the flesh is blasphemous and ought to be punished by execution, is actually straight out of the Old Testament. Any man claiming to be God is a liar and blasphemer. As to the "wretched tyrant" part: that's part of Islamic eschatology: it hasn't happened yet, so there's no point in trying to 'refute' it. @@sondslibya7085 This islam conspirecy theory of Isa is a hot mess. The simple baby Isa prophesy of him dying and then resurrected has been so twisted. This hijacked version of Jesus supposedly didn't die because someone replaced him in his crucifixtion, he was raised to heaven, will return in the future. he will get married (first time I heard that one), and then he will eventually die a mortal death. I am touched and impressed that Muslims show great reverence to the Holy Virgin Mother.... I wish they would read the Gospel of Luke. They would know Mary gave birth to the Redeemer of the World.... and she is called “Theotokos” God bearer.... Because Christ is God.

To give some context, it has been believed that the quran is based on a bible that has been forgotten or disposed of. If you read history, some kings unfortunately burned a lot of scripture. The main reason was to get people to abide by one book and avoid separation and divisions.
I cant insist and say what I know is to be the truth. However, Theories like bible Q and other sources have appeared recently that were unknown. “codex siniticas”, (a very old bible that was found in a cave in Egypt). And they contained things that we weren’t familiar with what the current scriptures have today.
Thats why we muslims have difficultly in believing that jesus was the son of god. Not, because we are ignorant. But we have reason from history to believe that things might have affected Christianity. And christanity today isn’t the same Christianity from as early as jesus christ ( Peace ve upon him).

How can God be born? Does that even make sense? Then how is Mary not God? How can a human being be God? How can the one you worship be a human being and DIE at the same time? Surely God doesn't die, nor was he born. Worship the TRUE God, who is Allah (SWT) brother, not Jesus. Allah, Glory be to him! He was never born, nor will be ever die, nor is he a human being. and Jesus is the slave of Allah.

There's always been uncertainty in regards to whose voice Maryam(as) heard while she was alone in the wilderness, because the Ayat do not identify the speaker. But the Qur'an strongly implies that it was in fact the newly born Isa(as), and not Jibreel(as). It was kinda obvious the first time I read the story, and it has to do with something that is shown in this scene.
It's simply a logical conclusion, although Allah of course knows best. But this is my personal opinion.
So when you read what Maryam(as) was being told immediately after Isa's birth, there's something missing. This becomes evident when she returns to her people and faces their scrutiny. What does Maryam(as) do in the scene when she's being accused and interrogated? She points to the baby. She directs the people towards the baby. Address the baby. Why does she do that? The voice didn't tell her to do that. So how did she know the child would speak, without having to be told in advance to redirect them to him?
The answer is obvious now. She had already witnessed the baby speaking. That's how she knew the baby spoke. So it wasn't necessary to specifically instruct her to signal to the people to address the child. The child had already spoken to her when they were alone in the wilderness. And therefor, in my opinion, and Allah knows best, but it seems that this is the correct interpretation. Isa(as) spoke to his mother immediately after he was born.
And this makes sense to me. The first person to witness the child speaking is his own mother. That's her privilege. "Dry your eyes [mother]", I think that's quite beautiful.

No we believe he a lot of miracles with the permission of god he could speak as an infant child, giving sight to the blind, and rasing the dead and even giving life to clay birds.. But all with the permission of god, his father and all ours. Jesus never said he was god. He always either said he was the lord's servant or his father. Jesus believed in ONE god being monotheistic, Christiainity in its purest form is one of the true religion. But then after Jesus was taken to heaven (not crucified or dead) and then the Romans changed the Chrisitianity and reformed it into a pagan religion. Thats why Christmas is not really the day of Jesus's birth. We believe Christianity got changed historically speaking, as for the Trinity aspect of the religion, it's really obvious that's it's impractical and it's not montheastic. Btw, at some point of time a Muslim Khalifa burnt and Burried every Quran after the Prophet Muhammad's death, not to torment the Islamic empire, but to prevent change of holy scripture. However, Islam made a system where there hundreds of people who there sole purpose in life was to memorized the Quran. They were called (hafiz) like memorizeros or guardians of the text. Now in 2021 there are MELLIONS. There are a lot of reasons why Islam is a bit more appealing as it's a religion not exclusive but inclusive. It is an Arhamic religion, believes in the Jews and Christian scriptures. It's believe that it was brought down by regulation to the Prophet Muhammed every time god made it necessary for people to be warned again or to be informed. So it's a way of life mentally and physically. From Scientific, Social advise, strict hygiene rules, and obligatory tasks to be done by ever human for mankind to function. Such Charity giving (2.5% to be precise) and some strict punishments in a perfect world where theft shouldn't exist then yeah extreme consequences need to be put in place. Islam was meant for 1400 years ago, actually it was meant for the end. As human population rises and people come to take desperate mesurments to stay alive, this pandemic has made it very clear that we are very fragile and vonruble. But that all doesn't matter until god knows when but we believe there is gonna be a great war in the levant region and there will be someone who rises and fights the unjust. The Al Mahdi.
