This song and M.I.A. together are absolutely gorgeous. What I love about Danger Line is the way it descends. It starts out with such high energy that you expect it to keep that momentum and be essentially a speed metal song. Starting out with a shredding solo sets an expectation opposite from most Avenged Sevenfold songs, then those verses are relaxed by comparison. There's some calm between the action. Then you know that soldier is never coming home and his last thoughts are of his little girl at home. It's so poetic and beautiful in a tragic way. He has final moments of calm and his life fades. Yet while it's sad, it's serene and peaceful in a way. I knew it would resonate with you. This is where Avenged Sevenfold hooks people. The emotional songs that evolve and transform and leave a lasting impression. Nightmare in particular is my favorite album because it's all emotional and the songs take very meaningful transitions. They're so quick, and they feel seamless. The vocals aren't as grating or overzealous. Everything has a purpose and is impactful. On July 27th, the album will have its 10th anniversary. It's great that it remains as effective as it was all that time ago.
if your into the slower songs you might like 'dear god', 'Victim', 'Sieze The Day', or 'So Far Away'. If you do 'So Far Away' definatly watch the music video
Avenged Sevenfold actually flew out to Iraq and Afghanistan and held live concerts for soldiers out there. They have a lot of songs about soldiers, like M.I.A, Gunslinger and then Danger Line. and more. They are an amazing band. Music on point, but the people themselves.. they are just good people.
No, you are completely right. This follows a soldier in his last minutes of life, but I like how it ends on a positive note. Remind the Lord to leave His light on for me. I’m Free! Avenged Sevenfold have done several songs about soldiers dealing with war. You might check out Gunslinger, for a story about a soldier’s struggle to get home to his significant other. It was in the soundtrack to the movie Jarhead, and the video shows footage from the movie, where Jake Gyloenhall returns home from a war.
I love your background! Lovely reaction girl!! I’m glad you be doing so many A7X songs! It’s my fav metal band 😍 how do you request a song? Do you take requests on here? If so you should definitely react to Critical Acclaim or/and Gunslinger by them! 🤩
I try to get the requests people make on here but the problem is keeping track of which ones pop up the most (because they are one different videos, etc). I have to rewrite the list every few days because it gets messy. There's a public post (you don't have to be a 'patron') on my Patreon where people can post recommendations - this way they are centralized and I can see which ones have the most 'likes'. Either way, I have added these two to the list.
Ohh I see! Good to know! Imma become a Patreon to you next month just gotta cancel some old ones I barely watch anymore cuz they never took my requests :( But I’ll check that section out that you mentioned! Glad you added them to your list tho! Have a great weekend 🥰❣️
Thanks for reacting to this, other good Avenged Sevenfold songs to listen to are: Bat Country Beast and the Harlot Buried Alive Make sure to do Lyric Versions for Bat Country and Beast and the Harlot as the videos cut out 2 mins of each.
Great reaction You should really check out so far away but so far away is a must music video reaction cuse only then you'll realize the true meaning of the song
I commented on one of your other vids that I didn't know why I liked these reaction videos but that was false...... the way your whole expression changed during that last verse, before you even paused it, I could see the emotion coming out and that is what it's all about. If a band is good at sparking emotions in you then they doing something right!
Check out so far away and dear God by avenged sevenfold. Those songs are perfectly tuned and lyrics is superb.ive subscribed to ur channel and waiting for the notification of ur upload.thanks
This song doesn’t get that much love because most people hate it and I love it because synister gates killed it on the guitar and yes the song is about soldiers
This song is so underrated it’s crazy. Don’t know if you’ve done acid rain but I’d highly recommend it. It’s an amazing ballad
