    Economically Tennessee is a clear winner. Especially for folks looking for rural living. Idaho has the superior topography.

      Interesting. I have only been to TN once, and by the looks of it, i wouldn't have called it a clear winner. I think you can find the nice and not so nice parts of either?

      @@BoiseRealEstate just simply the total tax burden rankings. Alaska is the best followed by Tennessee. Idaho is number 10. But you can argue that Idaho is worth it because of the qualities like location, topography, etc.

    I have been living in Nashville for the last 9 years and am moving to Star Idaho next month. Nashville has changed so much over that time period that it is nearly unrecognizable to me. I lived in Boise as a kid and my folks moved away for work after I finished 6th grade. Now I find myself bringing my folks back to Idaho.. lol, I'm excited to finally go back.

    I live in TN now but from and raised in Idaho - both have so many different things that are great but TN is so over populated and expensive in middle TN!! Idaho’s beauty is so hard to find anywhere else!

    Moved to TN from Utah and have watched TN evolve over the past 16 years and ot has changed so much. TN is very expensive now!! Sales tax is 9.25 with no breaks on grocery, meds, alcohol etc. Franklin TN is over rated. Entertainment in TN is absolutely terrible, everything evolves around music, musicians and food. Lakes and rivers are terrible here, to many snakes and the humidity is horrible.

    What about the the winds in the Boise area? I've heard they are brutal...what does that mean? How many MPH and how often, what season?

      depends where you're at in the valley and how close to the mountains you are. its not too bad imo compared to the great plains or tornado prone areas

    • @BoiseRealEstate
      @BoiseRealEstate  2 роки тому +2

      Yeah, wind in boise is not bad. not sure on the mph, but i say it in a few of my videos. the wind in Twin Falls, Pocatello, idaho falls and rexburg is terrible. boise isn't bad. normal wind conditions

      @@BoiseRealEstate they seem more similar than Tennessee and Idaho. And I’m from California so I want to stick to the west.
