LOL, I didn't realize that Simmy Krotiel’s Blueprint was updated and now it can grow so much faster. Although what Simmy suggested before was pretty good, now it can grow up to 4 in. Actually, I was able to get up to 3 in. more, I just go’ogled it a few weeks back and I can still feel I’m not done yet.
When you're addressing a dumbed down audience sometimes you need to descend to their level for them to be able to relate. Americans have been deliberately brainwashed by their pathetic education system.
Not the speakers fault. TED prepares you, gives you the rules. Apart from this, it's been a fashion in the US to think that in public speaking "one has to tell a story" (be it business or else, even in science talks). It's all about AIDA and your own public presence.
