Hi! Im replacing my compressor tomorrow. One question...I dont have cold AC it only blows warm air, but I do have hot air whenever i turn the heater on. Does this mean my refrigerant is empty and its Okay for me to replace the compressor without leaks coming out? Thanks
Before you replace the compressor you need to have your system leak checked. Also depending on your car you could be having a blend door issue thats not ac related. Id recommend getting it diagnosed from a shop before replacing the compressor.
+Miguel Marquez you need special equipment to do those things. Its a wise idea to take it to a shop prior to removing the compressor to have it evacuated properly. Then install your new parts, then return to the shop to have the lines cleaned and refilled. Seems like a lot of work but its not and will save you alot in labor costs. Most shops do the drain and refill for around 75 to 100 bucks. Vs. 250+ to do all the work
@@SupaHogg The a/c belt has a bullshit system. You can't loosen/tighten it like normal. There is no adjustment! You can borrow a belt-installation tool from you auto parts store. They are little wedges and you "slip" the stretchable belt on. Worst POS system I've seen--done to save the manufacturers money!
@@SupaHogg these guys are stupid bro. You can easily zip tie the belt onto something so it sticks to the compressor as you rotate the belt onto it, it will slowly attack itself on like when replacing a bicycle chain
Super easy explanation 🤣 Thank you!!!
Simple and easy. Nice video. Please do more Mazda. Thanks
Nice, thank you for this video

Miguel Marquez just be sure to call the shop first and make sure they will install your parts. alot of shops make you buy parts through them.
