You should invest in an injection molding machine. These parts are outrageously expensive, not to mention everything else needed to complete the setup. An iPad mini fits perfectly with the cubby door removed for and 8th of the price.

350$ is not a high price form something like this. at my shop i use to charge 250-500 to customize the original dash panel which of course can not go back to OEM once its done. this keeps your OEM parts intact if you decide to go back when you sell the car.

GPS can run through Google maps, I haven't seen anyone make a back up camera work yet. People are running Torque or other Android apps for gauges and diagnostics. It's an Android tablet, so it does what a tablet does :)

iPads unfortunately have a difficult time being an integrated part of a dashboard. The tablet that is currently supported (2016 model) has almost exactly the same specs as the 2019 model released in February. We may support the new model if demand is there for it. Not sure what all the specs are out there for temperature. You could also look at an option of a 10.1" screen module combined with something like an UDOO board. But I don't know if its heat tolerances would be much different

Currently we only work with Android tablets as they can be customized, have different car friendly power options, and support a wide variety of accessories. We don't have any immediate plans to support iPads.

Australian Z'ds are different to what your viewing. Our climate control has small knobs compared to your big ones and your middle knob is a push button for us.

We don't make much money at all on the plastics... That's essentially the cost to have plastics of that size printed using SLS printing.

Two methods.. pop off the trim and press the power button.. or some people have wired in a remote power button.

What about the button to switch off and turn on the device ?
Power settings are used to put the tablet into sleep mode when the car is turned off and then come back on again when the car is turned back on.
