    Thanks for sharing your settings. Mine are Lonove BK969S soldering station set to 666F (352C), Schneider solder (63" tin, 37% lead), 1/32" (.8mm) diameter, 446F (230C) melting point. The diameter sounds like a very important factor. I use GC liquid flux.
    Your settings: My soldering iron is a Weller and it was set to 350 C. The solder is some cheap stuff off Amazon 0.6 mm.. I don't see a temperature rating on it. And I used Ruby fluid soldering paste flux.

    Great tip using a popsicle stick to push the pins versus pushing on the board

    Very good. What temperature was your soldering iron set to, and what kind and temperature was the solder rated at? TIA
