    Just came across your channel, new subscriber! Great videos like this are hard to find since you show the very beginning all the way to harvest. Been gardening/seed starting for many years but I'm always looking to learn something new or a different way of doing things and you have it here. Thanks for the time and effort you put into these videos!

    From beginning to end, your setup is organized and precise. Do you have a video link on how to make a watering bottle for seeds from a drinking bottle? A link to the clear tote used to hold the seedling media? A link to the tray that is underneath the seedling containers to prevent media from getting on the table? Thanks

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  4 місяці тому

      Glad you like it. For the water bottle, II just punch holes on the cap with a push pin used on clipboards 📌. I will try to post a video on this soon. The clear tote is from target but you can find it in major retail stores too here is the link www.target.com/p/28qt-clear-under-bed-storage-box-white-room-essentials-8482/-/A-80162151 . The tray is from IKEA www.ikea.com/us/en/p/tillgang-tray-gray-10419950/#content . I hope this helps and thank you very much for your comment!

    A peach allowed to ripened on the tree tastes nice and sweet at home. Does growing your own Napa cabbage shown any difference in flavor in contrast to store bought? If so, can you describe?

    • @TowardGarden

      Any crop you grow yourself taste 10 times better than store bought. It just taste more natural😋

    Can I cut the dropy side leaves?or just let them be until harvest time?always adore your work,❤thanks

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  4 місяці тому +2

      The outer leaves act as a sort of protection against bugs. I have noticed that bugs usually attack the side leaves and the inner core stays healthy. So I suggest to keep them and you can cut them after harvest. Happy growing and as always thank you so much for your comment!

    how do you keep it from bolting?

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  2 дні тому

      Bolting is due to hot weather. Napa cabbage is a cold crop, so you should plant and grow them in cool season. For cold winters, plant them in May. For mild winters, plant them in August, or February. If it gets warmer in midday, try to protect them with a shade cloth from the hot midday sun. Hope this helps and thank you for visiting.

    Can the outer leaves also be used for cooking? It seems such a waste if those are not used.

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  3 місяці тому

    Dr. Earth Organic & Natural Pure Gold®All Purpose Liquid Plant Food 1-1-1. The 1 gallon size is difficult to track down online to local stores. I wonder why some the 16 oz pump version has some customers say that plants developed mold.

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  3 місяці тому

      I got the 1 gallon from Costco. Check their website to see where you can find it near you drearth.com/product/pure-gold-liquid-fert/ . And I never used the pump one and haven't had problem with mold. Thanks.

    How mine was so leggy?

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  2 місяці тому

      Leggy seedlings are mainly due to lack of light. Provide a strong light source to prevent that. Thanks for visiting.

    I don’t get it, mine went straight into a tall stock that had yellow flowers on top

    • @TowardGarden
      @TowardGarden  13 днів тому

      It is called bolting and happens when plants hit the hot weather and start flowering. Try to grow them in cool weather, such as late fall or early spring. Thanks for visiting.

      Maybe you've got the wrong seed.
      The plant you're talking about is called mustard.
