Ham log kuch v Nehi la paye yahan per refugee camp mein Rahane mein bahut jyada pareshani hua tha meri grandfather ko .then he got Indian citizenship after some struggling years.Then he joined Indian army after retirement he join police. But my other grand uncles ware not lucky thay ware killed in this war by Pakistan army. Everything was traumatic we don't no anything about them. We have dozens of stories of the time.
But kuchh bhi Ho I am born here and I proud to be Indian.

India just took the advantage of dividing Pakistan for its own geographical security while playing the role of a savior at the same time as it also had other economic interests. Why is water not properly released to Bangladesh now?

operation searchlight was operated on 25th march
25 march was the date of operation Searchlight. Mujib declared Independence in 26 march in early moring.
Just a few corrections: Operation Searchlight took place on March 25, 1971, and approximately 3.3 million Bangladeshis lost their lives during the war.
Despite Bangladesh's history, many people in the country feel that India’s help during the war is not fully acknowledged and some even think that India is trying to control Bangladesh as if it were part of India.
There are many Indians working in Bangladesh and earning a substantial income, while many Bangladeshis feel they don't have the same opportunities. Is this due to pressure from the Modi government? Additionally, Bangladesh is facing issues with its water supply, as many rivers and ponds have dried up which attribute to some actions by India. Helping your neighbor shouldn't mean treating them like third-class citizens. Do you have any thoughts on this?

India's position in 1971 was simple: Enemy of my enemy is my friend. India took advantage of the mishandling of Pakistan Army in the aftermath of the 1970 elections. It would be foolish to think that India cared about the humanitarian rights of the Bengalis. It in fact needed a divided Pakistan as India itself was geographically sandwiched by East and West Pakistan. West Pakistan made mistakes and miscalculations one after another and handed over the situation to India in silver lining. Once divided, India obviously has her own priorities now. Its the muslims overall that suffered from the events.
