Entertaining watch as always splat. Don't forget to talk to the vendors to level them up. There is a ring you can get that consumes corpses and do massive heals on your units. Chicken swarms are great try filling your command with just chickens. The fire staff is crap try something else like the summons staff from vendors. Look at the gold value of items, you keep selling the better items with great perks for ones that do a little more damage. The yellow house count in the bottom right is remaining production buildings the red helmet is the amount of combat units, these have to be zero to clear a map. Love your work splat!
They do hold up pretty well, I revisited them again moderately recently. Obviously they're a bit janky, particularly in their pretty ghetto cutscenes, but the gameplay itself is pretty fun.

Man does anyone remember the Overlord games? I wonder if they still hold up. They were fun as hell when they came out
Overlord was basically a Pikmin ripoff. If this kind of gameplay appeals to you, the Pikmin series is vastly superior. You should give it a go.
