Honestly, it’s refreshing that you are playing a game that you seem to genuinely enjoy. Nerding out, showing that you’ve definitely put the time and effort into learning the game and being great at it, while also being entertaining is a great way to go. It seems lately that some of the games you’ve been playing, you’re only playing because you know people want to see it, not because you genuinely enjoy them and want to play them.
I’d love to see more of this kind of Markiplier. Play games YOU want to play. You know we will watch basically anything you play anyways, so enjoy it and actually have fun.

If you are anything like me, you'll get bodied constantly then nearly flawless it even though you feel you did nothing different.

Yo know, sometimes we forget or take for granted that Mark actually is good at games, but this performance on NG+10 is incredible.
I think Mark is good at games, but bad at multitasking lol. His commentary makes up for it though.

One thing to keep in mind is that he's not getting Soul Stones from the bosses, so he's beaten NG+10 already.
But on the other hand, he clearly hasn't played much further so his stats aren't completely overwhelming, and he's playing out of his goddamn mind, so that's not really a mark (heh) against him.
It's true, I like watching him plays these games cause they remind me that he is a gamer, though he can be chaotic

This video is actually what got me to play RL2 (and subsequently RL1). Just hearing Mark talk about how much he loves this game and him explaining all the little intricacies made the whole thing seem so interesting. Also this video shows off the harder versions of the main bosses, which inferred to me that there was a good amount of post-game content, and I wasn't mistaken. This game is awesome!
Mark has been what got me into a lot of games, especially roguelites, from this game to RoR2 to even games like The Raft and GTFO, I wouldn't even THINK about playing those games if not for Mark.
Now I wished he play Dead Cells
It's so mesmerizing to watch Mark play these fast paced games, and when he really gets quiet and goes into his "concentration mode" it's just hypnotic and I'm here for it

I love the glow-up from the first ep tbh. Yeah that last boss was impossibly hard, but you literally tore thru the whole game minus part of that ONE enemy with ease. I love seeing you play games you enjoy, and I'm glad you got so much time off-screen to enjoy it!

It's really nice and refreshing to see Mark play a game he's familiar with, and genuinely enjoys! It's just something about him paying something that's not spontaneous, like "I saw this and it looked cool" or when a game gets reccommended to him, that just immediately plants a smile on my face. In a way, mark kinda reminds me of my older brother, it's so incredibly heartwarming when he talks about something he's passionate about, that just melts my heart, and the same thing goes for mark!! I loved this video, and honestly, I'd love to see mark do more playthroughs of video games that he likes!

I never realized how much I missed mark over the past year-or-so, until I watched Security Breach’s playthrough. He’s really damn good at games, he just distracts himself by trying to be entertaining, as is evident in the fact that when he’s quiet, he is better than most youtubers at almost any genre of game
Yeah ppl don't seem to realise how much he has to multitask all the time for videos.
It just reminds me of how he absolutely carried everyone in Bloody Trapland and got insanely good at GTFO. Like he's not the best at anything, but he's way above average at everything when he's concentrating and not trying to entertain us.

Well in reality when Mark rages he looks all concentration and will overreact making his intelligence drop but his skill still remains. He doesn't really get better when he rages in fact, he just starts making more mistakes and gets mad at himself. Like in Getting Over It or Golfing Over It, when he ends up raging at the parts, he can't get back up he ends up insulting himself and getting mad which in turn causes his skill to Intelligence to drop.
Otherwise, this was a waste of time but still fun to adjust. (My version btw)

Mark is a beast at this game! Also, Distractible is such a joy to listen to. I love hearing the dynamics between Mark, Bob and Wade. I think they should really, REALLY keep doing that podcast. I have not yet played this particular game, but from my experience with roguelites and other similar games, I can say confidently that mark is very good at this game. The knowledge and instant recognition of items and enemies speaks to plenty of experience, and knowing exactly how stupid every mistake and bit of damage is speaks to the fact that plays well. It’s not that good players never make mistakes, especially when they’re trying to make an entertaining video at the same time, but they do know exactly what those mistakes were.
Hey Mark, thank you so much for turning me onto this game. I wasn't aware of it till i saw your play through and i'm a huge fan of rogue likes. I ended up getting it and trying it our for myself and i absolutely love it now. its has everything i want in a good 2d rouge like. Hard but fun boss fights; tight and face paced mechanics; and buffs/abilities that have weird synergies to experiment with. Seriously, thank you 😁

I'd rather not. The more you demand him to play the games he plays for his off time the more the thing he loves becomes too much of a job then he'll tire of it. I am totally cool with him showing us these games that make him happy every now and again but you know he is a creator we love so I dont know what I am saying anymore. Just talking

He helped me through a long term illness :) looking fwd to his videos every day and laughing along kept me going I swear. Everything gets better after high school, btw!
ive never really seen markiplier enjoy a game/be as good at a game as he is here. its really awesome to see and im looking forward to more of it in the future
