I love how the ladies and gentlemen treats the soldier like their child. He also went through it and she had a son or brother go through it.
Korea even before the sundering had a proud history of very deep and binding respect for their warriors and also this sense that everyone in Korea was merely an extension of your own family. That is why the most common honorific given to those to whom you spoke to (if they were an elderto you) was 'Auntie' or 'Uncle' as a sign of respect, and if you were speaking to someone considerably younger than you it was similar.
I also like your thoughts what you wrote in there

The world would be such a nice place if all human beings were like these people.
Most people are! That's what this video proves, I think perhaps what is needed is that the majority of people (regular, kind and decent) should make the decisions for what our world looks like and not the greedy, cruel few.

By this makes me even more believe that Korea is full with warm and very kind people, the manner of kindness is in another level. Bless those people
Divo Galindra I realise Japanese are kind too ❤️
What's up with this regional bullshit ?! You will find that the world is full of nice people if you are one.
Divo Galindra Not everyone is like this, it's by luck you would find people that pity you in the world.
dont believe everything you see from a video. Not saying it's fake, but it's just a small warning since not everyone is like this
you're completely wrong. i live in south korea and the people here are not that nice at ALL. they stare and basically bully you.
These good souls really brought tears in my eyes like they talked to him as if he was their son and those lines made me more emotional!!!
Its very comforting to see that some people care and very polite but why would you fake everything on it. what just it gain to humanity. They just literally lied to some good people.
Even if he wasn’t a soldier I would still tie the shoelace of someone who broke their wrist
好羽ス- i think the point of the video is the shoelaces . soldier shoes are not same with what normal people use so it’s kind of difficult and took a long time to tie the shoelaces. And these people showed their sincerity of doing that.
Tried this in Canada, they tied the shoe then appologized.
Lol
Stereotypical but lol
Lol
Funny cause it's true xD
Sorry lol sorry I sorry just sorry cant sorry help sorry it sorry
It's nice because they can relate. I have heard stories of soldiers being mistreated in NK, and it just breaks my heart. They do so much for the country, but have not just a no show of gratitude, but actually have a negative view instantly placed on them. For all you soldiers, no matter what part you serve, I hope you a bright and blessed future
This just shows that the world haven't lost all of it's good and kind hearted people.👊#Respect
I saw a documentary about how the korean generations now are leaving their elders to live alone and worse case they die in their homes alone without their family knowing. I have been in Korea so many times and I see elders in the subway having difficulties climbing up the stairs with heavy bags and nobody bothers to help. I saw one elder looking at people just wondering if someone would assist her. It surprises them having a foreigner help them instead. I hope more Koreans do not only practice kindness through words but also in action. Parents are so precious. I hope they watch over their parents until they pass on. This is the asian way and that is how it should be. Life is tough but its always better when you have the support of your family. This video shows how precious these elders are...Anyway, I am not generalizing Koreans, I am just pointing out from actual experience. I got great Korean friends with the biggest heart. I hope I find more.
Not just Korean generation just kids now just don't realize that parent get older and eventually need help. Even if they don't live with you should still go and visit them as much as you can. Life seriously is shorter than you really think it is.
I’m more of a Japan fan. I love everything about Japan. But when it comes to appreciating elders, Koreans are surely better. In Japan, you often see youngsters sit at reserved seats even though they see some elders don’t get seats on subways. However, in South Korea, I ALWAYS see youngsters give up their seats when things like this happen. Generally, I think that Korean people are colder than Japanese people. Yet, when it comes to things like elder thingy, they are the best.
Ikr I have no idea why Korea is moving towards the Western lifestyle of leaving your families after a certain age. It won't do them any good in the longer run though, look at how hard the younger generations have it in the West. I hope the family centric, collectivist feature of Asian societies stays in intact.
Not just korea. Most countries have this problem too. Kids leaving parents behind for better life in city. I've read news about grandma in china kept his grandson fav candy for years waiting for him to visit. So heartbreaking
[SIGMyPop]서인 국 사랑 so true. When I went to Korea last summer, I was shocked by how self centered people were since Korea was always presented as a culture that emphasizes politeness. Whenever we got on a subway train, the 20 something’s would dash to the seats and remain there, their eyes determinedly focused on their screens while the older people stood. I usually stood but I once got a seat and offered it to the grandma in front of me. She was so shocked that anyone would offer! It just made me really sad because in the US, despite our reputation for rudeness, people usually offered their seats to the elderly and people with kids. I even saw it in China despite how packed trains get sometimes. But for Korea...they are definitely not disability friendly and it seems the younger generation don’t seem to value the elderly.
This is the purest thing I’ve ever seen
*im so pure* (sorry😂)
My god...

This like a healing talk between the elders. Its so good to hear their experiences and advices.
Koreans may look a bit blunt or unfriendly at first cause their facial expression is a bit stiff (foreigners say that Koreans dont smile that much) but they are really warm-hearted people. They are the kind of people who can't pass someone looking for help. They will often go out of their way to help out someone in need of help. Once you become friends with them, they will give their heart and soul to you.
