Aldrachi Reaver has great potential (possibly the best burst) but the rotation is overly complicated that probably only elite arena focus players could handle it with ease.

I've prob read it over like 5 times. it really helps keeping me making this videos each day and I'm so glad you care about my long run downs and detailed explanations even though they definitely talk longer to get through. that's exactly what I was going for, to give you the tools you need to be able to play what you wanna play the way you want to play it. there are so many brackets now of PVP with bg blitz, shuffle, 3s, 2s, etc that knowing how the class works rather than just copying a build seems valuable.
What i had to end up running on beta to get above 2.2 was dropping soul scar and burning wound and taking the two main talents that improve chaos strike (choice node with soul scar for 10% chance for chaos strike hit twice + chaos theory). The fel scarred talents that causes chaos strike spam (from bonus agility outside of metamorph) to do MUCH more damage, and the burning blade talent makes spamming chaos strike to build a 500k dmg per 2(?) seconds dot. If you get a big burning blades dot stacked up into eye beam rotation the burst is insane. Pair that with 2x weapon enchant that does shadow dot dmg (BiS for DH not even close, r1 player in shuffle showed me the tek), the enchant plus burning blades becomes 20-30% of your total dmg, and annhilation crits do huge dmg with a chance to hit twice. Throw glaive base dmg is SO bad now, just look at how much it hits for. This build also saves on talent points and fury since glaive becomes free, and you drop the other glaive talents on right side and can pick up momentum. Glaive just becomes a free AOE snare button. (Also, aldrachi reaver felt so bad in arena. If any micro CC messes up the rotation at a bad time you just sit there doing no dmg. Every high rated DH I saw was also running fel scarred.) You also can pick up the second talent of left side tree to further enable chaos strike spam.

thank you man! trying to be comprehensive enough to give options but diligent enough to find the "best" build for each video. for dh at least in war within pvp season 1 I think demonsurge is a no brainer rn. I'm higher on aldrachi's future than anyone I'm sure, but I just think because it has so many rotational mods that when dh's base dmg is very high or aldrachi is buffed with pve in mind whatever comes first, it seems like a natural pick.
I've liked playing vengeful bonds over unrestrained fury when playing glaive tempest since we get 50 extra fury from the hero tree, and we can just macro retreat and glaive tempest together since it's off the gcd allowing us to save our stuns for eyebeam.

I main a dh. Neither of those WW monk has more utility for your team than DK and DH has no utility. Plus you can put 1 talent into soothing mist and then you can insta cast vivify and start healing pretty fat especially compared to how much druids can heal
Can you revisit Elemental Shaman now that the hero talents are out. It would be interesting to see if you thing that the lightning shaman is viable now.
Hey fellow Demon Hunters, how do you fight multiple kiting classes or at the very least a rooting 🐱 frost mage? I love the classes, it’s smooth as heck, it’s aggressive, it’s flashy, but dang getting kited to death is not fun. We have what, two root breaks? Any tips?
Root breaks, Slow with glaive throw, banish, stun, the hunt, metamorphosis jump, fel.blade, double dash, you shouldn't have to much off an issue sticking to classes, reversing magic snares or slows can be huge, don't blow all your mobility in one ago, trade, they dash you dash, they run you run, etc etc. Recommend watching other high rated DHs and see what they do, having a good healer or teammate that can cleanse is also nice haha.

dude you're not even wrong, I swear that's one of the most wild hero talent trees. it literally has you alternating abilities in different orders depending on the situations yeah? it's like one passive has you do it this way, then the other the other way. aldrachi might end up being insane for like late tww dh pvp where your globals are so strong the modifiers just make a huge difference. but rn, I prefer demon surge!
i've been trying to decide if whether I want to lvl a havoc dh or frost dk for pvp? what would you say is the best option overall? i like to do competitive pvp but nothing crazy, i'm more a casual player that likes world pvp, random and rated bgs as well as some arenas.
yeah absolutely! in fact that's the one I would choose because of the crazy aoe burst from the demonsurge effect. it's also really high sustain/survivability which is great for just lasting in team fights or getting out to skirms. I think dh is actually kinda underrated for war within pvp, ESPECIALLY bg blitz.

i dont have the trinket and like the idea of to opt out with desperate instincts, although the duration is reduced by 5 sec to 5 sec after, so its kind of low. the problem with haste doesnt occur just in pvp :D but i can imagine in pvp its still more important to find an alternative, because its not scripted to generate cds once in a while. on fel scared last node says something like, from all anhanced spells, the least do the most dmg. i didnt even figure that out in pve :')

Fun Fact: You can use bandages while Netherwalk is up ;) Being Netherwalk lasts 6sec, you can heal about 2.5m hp.
that's actually a crazy interaction. I don't think bandages work in rated arena, but do they in rbgs/bg blitz?

DK is definitely the safer option, more useful to RBG team etc.

I think you cannot reverse frost nova root from a mage , correct me if i am wrong
