Mike are reedslots on the Rocket as tight as on the Crossovers? Just curious. I like SP20s I play, but I will usually emboss the slots with the UST. I own some Crossovers and about the only embossing I've seen necessary on them is maybe end of the slots as the reedslot tolerances are a lot tighter than the SP20s & GMs I customize and play. If the Rocket reedslot tolerances are tight like the Crossover it would seem the Rocket could be made into an ideal overblow harp with less work other harps. Thanks, Mark
Great video. My question is about how these Rockets come apart for servicing or modifications. (Some of my harps get tricky in this process) The Rocket’s single screw on each end of the cover plates looks easy to deal with. Is it also simple when you open these Rockets to get to the combs and reed plates? Thanks.
I have a really hard time getting my mouth small enough for single notes. I think the bigger holes are going to be good for me

I play mostly Special 20s, and only do gapping and tuning as needed.

Reeds and slots are the same on all the handmade harps. The covers and comb make this harp unique.

Super simple. Use a pozi driver so you dont strip the screws.
