Hello Michelle wow those are really nice cups and saucers you acquired I love them and you are going to use the ball book a lot so sweet of Gerald to get that for you many hours of enjoyment there in that book . You are so blessed to have such a thoughtful husband . Say hi to Josh keep the vlogs coming I’m enjoying them
Really enjoying your channel, Michelle! I started gardening and preserving after retirement; it's a wonderful hobby and the Bernardin book is my favourite go-to source! Have fun 😊❤
Thanks, Jacqueline. It's very relaxing to garden and preserving definitely makes one feel very productive. What are a couple of recipes that you really like from the book? 😀
@@MichelletheIntrovert I like the cucumber relish, the cranberry sauce and simple canned peaches. Some hot pepper relishes in the book are also nice 🙂. Have fun with it, Michelle!
NICE gifts, those tea cups are really nice. I was just gifted a galloon can of pickled beets. & what do u think happened, i spilled some of the beets on the floor. But, got them picked up & rinsed off , before it stained the floor. TFS my little tater tot !! xoxo
The tea cups and saucers are absolutely lovely! Royal Crest China is a favourite vintage collectible! If you're ever interested in matching the patterns, there are other pieces you could add to your collection. I'm sorry about your jelly. Recently, I made rosehip and grape jelly using a tried and true recipe but my jelly didn't solidify either. I can't explain or understand why it didn't work. So I tried again with berries and beet juice but that didn't work either. It's a mystery. Maybe Certo changed the formula?!?! Anyway, I swirled my failure into homemade ice cream and added some to banana smoothies. Like you, I don't like wasting food. Thanks Michelle! 🫖🍵
I would use the grape "jelly" as ice-cream topper,or for pancakes ect ...for future use the two places I have seen kool aid in the last while is The great canadain dollar store and also carls store in tusket carries a variety of powdered Kool aid as well , those tea cups are beautiful what a wonderful gift 🎉
I love the green cup and saucer. Beautiful!

How kind it was for him to think of you and buy those gifts for you!!
your tea sets are so pretty michelle
Hi Monica 👋 They are sooo beautiful. I am so grateful for such a gift 🎁.
For the grape jelly I would pour the liquid in a saucepan and use 1 pkg of certo. I have had jelly not set up before also. And that is how I fixed it.
That's a great 👍 idea, Catherine. I think 🤔 that I will try that. Thanks so much 😀

Oh, thank you for letting me know. I appreciate it. 😀 Thank you also for the great ideas for the use of the grape 🍇 jelly. That's terrific. 😀
@@MichelletheIntrovert you could even use a teaspoon or two if you were making smoothies as well
That would be delicious. Thank 😊.
Wonder if the "jelly" would be good as syrup on pancakes/french toast?
I think 🤔 that's a terrific idea. Thank you 😊.
Canadian dollor store sells Kool aid in the summer
Thanks, Anne, for letting me know. That is very helpful 🙂.
