2:08 The red is not cladding(0.250mm) it is the acrylate coating. cladding is the 125 microns (0.125mm) in the 62.5/125 ; 50/125 & 9/125 standard core/clad diameters. But the overall video is very educational and properly illustrated.Kudos

I knew this was a slow process and now i can see why. Not that it is super slow but you sure can't hack away at it like you can Cable or CAT Wires.
