I'm growing up in the United States. The journey to becoming great at football is very difficult here. I'm about 14 right now and have only been playing for about a year now. I love football so much and want to become great at it. My friends keep telling me I'm bad at football but it does not bring me down, it only motivates me to become better than them. And back to my part about having a difficult time here is that this country is seen as bad at football. Not many neighboring people in communities like football. There are no youth academies here. My dream is to play for an MLS club and then play somewhere in Europe. If you are reading this, I hope you work as hard as you can to become great, and fulfill all of your dreams!👊🏻

Around last season I would never actually use my skill or pace and just make a pass because I didn’t believe that I would succeed. But eventually I just tried it and now I’ve won trophies with my team
@@uafa140 It's not too late actually its a great age they usually accept you when you are 16 but its not late and try to block people with your shoulder a bit that might help and when you want to receive a pass know who you are going to pass to that helps alot.
This has been one of the most motivational and inspirational videos I've seen. I'm not trying to become a footballer or anything, I already have an education and different career path in life. But I'm a massive fan and love the sport. This video got deep and not only showed us a little insight at their lives but also taught valuable life lessons that we can all use to become successful at whatever we want to and dream of doing.

I just played a really bad game against a team ranked way below our team, and I come to think, how can I become a pro if I can't even play at this level while other kids my age already have a pro contract? I've never been at a professional club. Never had that experience in the professional game so sometimes I doubt whether I'll actually get anywhere in football. But I won't ever stop grafting for it. I'm 17 now and I'm gonna keep working hard to achieve my goals ⚽️🙌🏾

If you want to be a footballer you have to know ur stuff, it's not all black and white. I'm only 14 but I play against 17 year olds because I put in the work everyday training with teammates or by myself. If you really want to be a footballer no matter what age, you have to be the hardest working person you know. I wish y'all luck in ur journey hopefully we all make it pro💪🏼

im 13 and at my sunday league team they have no interest in me. even tho i carry them i get no respect. in my school team ive got kids who r playing for fulham and chelsea and always look down to me but ive got an image in the back of my mind of me playing for atletico madrid. my dad even said ive got a very slim chance because of my age of making it.
im now training everyday and trying to look for a futsal team in my area.

I was doing well in my school selection until the 2nd last day of the selection when you need to do keepie uppies... I'm a CB/GK and my best is like 5 or 6.I hot selected but rarely plays

How to actually become a footballer:
- Rely on your parents enrolling you in a football academy for the local team at the age of 7
- Perform well and rise to the age groups above till the age of 16
- Try to get into the youth team, reserve team, and sign a contract on a scholarship
- Try to get into the first team. If not, then try first team football at a lower league
- If not then fall into clinical depression and get a weekend job at Asda
14 years of age and currently only play at county league level, but with hard work anyone can make

One thing footballers need to learn is to treat fans with mutual respect. If they are showing you love and admiration, at least acknowledge them and make sure if you're going to leave to do it on the best terms.
Really, it's as simple as putting in a hard shift every week and not leaving for your rivals..yet so many footballers fail to do so.

I was told age 8 (I am a CB), that technically i was the best and smartest CB in my area but they said i was too fat.... Ive always thought to this day that instead of just saying no, why didn't they help me and support me (to lose weight) but they didn't and they destroyed my confidence as i then believed i was too overweight to play. But luckily i have a great dad who help me through it and i'm losing weight every day and possibly one day reach my dream of becoming a pro!
