I wanted to buy the Fosi ZA3, but in Canada its $ 199 and the Aiyima A07 Max is only $98. So i got the Aiyima, like it so much, very good sound, good bass good sound stage. I got another for Duel Mono, its great. The Fosi is double the price. Its either pairing issues ( your combination ) or quality control. My 2 units are very good. I use a SMSL SU1 DAC and klipsch r620f speakers.
I returned my A07MAX back in January. It sounded great, but with Sparkos opamps in it. AUX out was definitely not a sub out for me and most people I think. I returned it because the ZA3 was on the horizon, but Fossi took too long to bring it to Amazon that I gave up on it as well. Maybe the new mono blocks would peak my interest. I'm rolling an SMSL AO300MKII, modified it to be able to roll opamps and it's magnificent now, with plenty of power! ;) Will post a video of it on YT soon!
Another junk budget amp is Fosi Audio BT30D Pro. The sub side went out after about 6 weeks of use. It never really sounded good but after all it was class D junk.
Any reviewer who tells his audience not to buy a product is an insult to the industry. If I were the vendor I would sue this guys ass for slander. How unprofessional. He is entitled to any opinion about the product but is not entitled to tell the public not to buy a product.
That's an interesting take. Isn't the point of a review to say whether you recommend a product or not? No vendor involved, I purchased this myself (and returned it). Just sharing an honest impression.
I don't own or have I heard the Fozi or this amp but I don't think any reviewer that finds a huge difference between them to have any credibility. Looking at the specs and the fact they are based on the same chip and similar architecture I would expect any difference to be much smaller. I can accept you have a preference for one over the other because of this but not the huge difference that you claim. The Fozi looks to have slightly better build construction but the Aiyma is much cheaper and Fozi's biggest competition. I suspect Fozi may have a propaganda program to discredit their competitor. Your the second reviewer in the past couple of weeks that has this opinion after many favorable reviews for this amp.
Have you heard them both? Seems like credibility would start with have you actually heard both products side by side. I could be wrong, but I have a hunch that a lot of people that don’t agree haven’t actually heard the products. It’s also possible I just got a bad unit, but if Amazon is warning me that a lot of people return them…
@@MrAyrit I don't need to hear to know that there can not be a huge difference because most of the sound quality is in the Texas Instrument chip which is used in both products. These are not complex designs because of this chip, that's their purpose to make things much simpler and cheaper in producing these amps. Any differences will be more subtle based on the rest of the components mainly the opamps and probably the power supply quality which can be changed. There's no magic one has over the other. Features and price should be more important when choosing one over the other.

Why should I trust your ears anymore than theirs? What reason do you have for me to watch and believe your reviews over theirs? I have both za3 and A07 max.... The aiyima sound is more better.... The only edge of Za3 is more bass than A07max but overall A07max is much better.

Seems fosi are very generous with reviewers and the aiyima A07max is master piece that is creating pain for fosi :)
