Bobby worked his magic on my car not long ago. CDUC A4 with Stronic box. Completely standard hardware with DPF. No Dyno printout of any power figures but a recent 4.1 second 0-60 with a passenger gives you an idea of the sort of power he can squeeze from these engines.
@@BobbySinghRacing with times like that you don't need a Dyno print out to know it's making decent power. That was using launch control. Without launch control it was pulling 4.4-4.6 seconds
@@vegePOG That is the time I got on multiple runs using a 0-60 timing app. I can't vouch for its accuracy but the times it was stating on my mates car was very much bang on what his car should be doing so it's not a million miles out. IIRC Bobby has verified runs of about 4.5 second 0-60 on stock hardware cars so still mighty impressive even at that.
Great results Bobby - what do make of the reliability of these? Looking at one - exact same model and year - worried about stronic - any essential jobs to do once purchased?

Its a gen2 DL501 - I have a gen1 running over 900nm on stock clutches. But they are wear items so need replacing at some point. Im not sure if the clutches are different never compared part numbers, but I suspect they are.

@@reeced5521 best time i got with a dragy on a cduc so far with stock hardware was 4.6’s.
Sometimes all the stars need to align to get a good time.
Seems quicker than the blue one you did a while back.
Same air mass, fuelling so should be same power. I do like these and far easier to get 400hp plus power

They seem decent - chains can rattle but that with most new style engines - I would buy a 2016 model onwards, the early one can have internal issues.

Does the DL501 in these have different clutches to those found in the 245bhp A4/A5 variants?

i heard it have same fuelpump injectors as s5 tdi, so if you change turbo 450 would be easy with no other upgrades?
I think max with safe egt would be around 420hp.
