I like April on here and Hoovies main channel but i like her even more now because of her pick. The fact she was honest with her choice, even though Tyler has a stake in Freddys, but she still said 5 guys just shows she has integrity. My rank of these is different, Best for me is Sonic then Wendys followed by Freddys, mcDonalds and lastly 5 Guys. I alos hate in n out, yuck

Wendy's is also fresh/never frozen meat, and I believe McDonalds changed to fresh patties on the quarter pounders as well, hence always having to wait for them since the change

Yes, the mis-speak about frozen McD, and the physical abuse of the Sonic, really barked "Freddy's Commercial" out loud, abandoned the rest........it doesn't have to be science......but don't be super-cheese.
About 30 years ago, my next door neighbor was Al Bernardin. He "invented" the McDonald's quarter pounder with cheese. He also had 14 McDonald's restaurants. Today, we're waiting for our Freddie's to open on 336, in Conroe!

My local Steak-N-Shake still has a double Steakburger and fries combo for $4.99, its like they never got the memo about raising prices and blaming it on inflation and wages. The Milkshakes are great too. Honorable mention to In-N-Out Mooyah and Whataburger as my other favorites, RIP Fuddruckers ( at least in my area).
First, I will never be guilted into tipping for counter service. 2nd 5 Guys is the best of the options you have here, and I have had them all.

You know, if you look at the gas gauge on your instrument cluster it shows a little fuel pump and whatever side it shows the hose on is the side of the car that your fuel filler port is on.

When I used to work at Carl's Jr. back in the day (early 80s), all orders were made fresh to order. We also had sandwich standards to make sure all sandwiches were made to a consistent dining experience. No steamed patties, no heat lamp warmed patties. The only time they floated, that is to say they made extra patties, was during lunch rush and even then patties were used within minutes. Sadly that is no longer the case today. No longer fresh, no longer have standards and now patties are cooked and placed in a steamer. 😢
I love Jake's expression when you tried Freddy's. I like to look for the special pricing that Burger King has once in a while and get two for $5 or $6.

My wife brought me a Sonic double cheese burger home for lunch the other day. One bite and it went into the trash!! I considered saving it for my dog, but I love my dog! Their quality has suffered horribly in the past few years!
Watching this reminds me, my wife and I got these juice shots at the beach, the main ingredient was green coffee bean extract, very very bitter, I took the first shot and it was horrible, but I kept a straight face and said it was really good. My go-to lately is Wendy's because there is one at the front of my neighborhood and on the Wendy's app there are always discounts. Food trucks have some ridiculous prices on burgers. Our neighborhood has a food truck night and sometimes a basic burger is $12-$13, then add a slice of cheese for $1-$2, sales tax, and a tip and you're paying $20.

The best fast food meals i’ve had have all been from Freddy’s. They seem to be more consistent, where as a lot of the others it seems to depend on the mood of the 15 year old thats working that day.
Watched this, and less than 24hr later I’m now sitting in a Freddy’s enjoying a burger with cheese fries. This location is 25miles from my home , but worth it!!!

We just got a Five Guys in my area and I love their burgers!! I go at least once every week or two. I get a little bacon cheeseburger and a little fry and it's more than enough for me. I'm willing to pay for quality food and good portion sizes.
Hardee’s SuperStar burger is pretty dadgum good at half the price of Five Guys. Also, if you’re active duty military, veteran, or first responder, they give you a ten percent discount !

I think I remember McDonald's apple pies being mentioned in this video at some point. Discussion being baked now rather than fried but found out fried were still in a couple of states. I just had KFC tonight and bought their apple pies. Guess what- fried and tasted just like the old McDonald's pies. Not sure if that is all over but here in Festus MO it is. I live near Cambridge in the uk 🇬🇧 and we only have 5 guys that's very expensive and maccies and as you said the only burger is the quarter pounded with cheese the other burgers are rubbish. Burger King does massive burgers that are good. Of course they more expensive but you get what you pay for so worth it.

Of those choices - I go with Freddy;s too. 5 guys is good but my local restaurant uses way too much salt on the burgers and fries. I have to special order with no seasoning and then do my own. Even then they mess up and add it anyway, not good for when you bring it home to eat.

I lived in Texas for 24 years and Whataburger isn’t the same since they got taken over my a Chicago investment firm and started expanding all over the US. I really do like Freddy’s the best nowadays.

Actually McDonald's 1/4 pound patties are the only ones they sell that are fresh/never frozen, the rest are. That's why I only ever order the quarter pounder or double quarter pounder.
